Friendly staff, good location and facilities (pool, restaurant in house, restaurants across the street, proximity of a bus stop (super bus system there !). Rooms oldish but clean, no smell.
The beach has been ravaged by storm Harris January 2026. Mid May, no waiter by the poolside (which was fine, just order inside).

When we checked in, the staff took more than 4100 euro from my Mastercard. When we checked out yesterday, another staff didn’t release my credit but instead asking me to pay for the actual bill which is around 3499euro. Try to explain and his boss or colleague tried to explain to him also but still they can’t release my credit 4100. This kind of operation is not proper and not understandable. As it causes me directly can’t use my credit again while we are really need it. Due to the Etna eruption, only God knows how long we have to hang around in Sicily before we can go home.
And don’t feel any help or assistance from the hotel.
