Best Western Air Hotel Linate

Very kind staff and very accomodating

The reception staff were very helpful when we had issues with our taxi driver. One receptionist came outside to talk to driver and resolve the problem. The other checked me in and took me to my room.

The metal shutters on bedroom window were very depressing.

Very convenient location close to the Linate airport. Nice to have the free shuttle service and prompt service when i called to get picked up. Food at the restaurant was good. Great breakfast buffet selection.

Gym facility was clean and spacious but lacking in terms of equipment. The treadmills didn't work very well, the elevation didn't work at all. There were only a few small weight dumbbells. Compared to all the hotel gyms I've been at, it was the most minimal. But overall, better than no gym at all.

Breakfast is fine. Reception desk is willing to answer your questions. Prompt response if you would like to be picked up at the airport with the complimentary shuttle. Long service hours for the shuttle bus. Our room had a disability bathroom (not needed for us, but at least it is there if anyone needs it). However, there are a few steps to take in order to get to the room (which was on the first floor - lower ground-), which can be challenging with a disability.

We've asked for a quiet room, however, the rooms are pretty noisy. Anyone talking outside your room can be clearly understood. We were there during the Olympics, so the prices were through the roof and way too expensive for this 3-star hotel. They claim to be 4-star, but in our book this is a maximum of 3-stars. Furniture in the home is rather simple. The pillows were very voluminous, instead of flat, which would be much preferred by us. Fortunately we have one flat spare and although requested, the hotel wasn't able to supply us with another flat pillow. They explained that the policy of the Best Western is to only have the voluminous pillow. We would strongly recommend them to revise this decision. The hotel could do with a renovation.
