Unpleasant hotel, will not visit again.

Fairly good location, nice lobby, overall the basics (bare minimum) were covered.

The hotel felt dated and neglected. The corridors were dirty, lifts small and clunky, rooms dark. Everything smelled of moisture and vinegar (especially towels and sheets). Eating breakfast felt like eating on a parking lot, food and cutlery were often left unfilled for a long time . A lot of staff was junior, not knowing what to do or how to help. The parking was really hard to maneuver in a SUV.

Check-in wasn't welcoming at all, the staff person seem to be annoyed to attend us. The room had a really bad smell, sweat-like, and looked old and dated. The shower water didn't get hot enough. Unlike the other 6 hotels we've stayed at during our trip to Italy, this was the only one that didn't provide any courtesy water bottles or coffee/tea maker with coffee sticks and tea bags to drink. The hotel is at a 40 minute walk from the main attractions, so not very well located. The name "Palace Hotel" and the overall facilities don't really match up...

Verona city discovered in a day.

Parking space arranged upon arrival of the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was spacy and bright.

The breakfast buffet was Italian style, so there was a lot of sweet and less savory food to choose from.

Nice rooms and very friendly staff. Good value for money compared to city centre hotels. 25-30 min walk to city centre however there is a bus stop outside hotel that goes to main train station which is a short walk to Piazza Bra and Arena. Other bus options opposite side of the bridge close to the hotel.

Bed was a bit small. I am only 6ft however feet were hanging off the edge.

Good sized clean room, comfortable bed. Mini bar was well stocked. Friendly and helpful staff. Good choice of foods for both continental breakfast and tasty dinners. Good car parking facilities.

Glass top on desk above fridge was chipped and sharp which could potentially cut a young child's finger or hand. Reported this and the glass was just turned round to reveal another chipped area.

Everything was OK - breakfast, cleanliness of the hotel, kind staff, view to mountains from our window.

Although it is not very close to the old town - it doesn't bother me much, it was an opportunity to walk around after a good dinner in an Italian tavern

Very good breakfast. Free onsite Parking Good reliable Wifi. Safe in room. Large bathroom. Bus stop right outside the hotel. Walking distance to Verona city centre (30 minutes). Staff spoke good english and gave valuable information about activities and transport.

Bad smell and an mediocre experience

Free parking was great. The hotel is located outside ZTL zone.

The room had a very bad smell of cigaret smoke, sewer and parfume. They had conveniently placed air freshener around the hotel, so obviously trying to hide some kind of odor. I would say the experience was mediocre.

Ok stay but 3* quality, the breakfast was very disappointing

The bed was very comfortable, decent sized rooms and the staff helpful.

My partner and I booked a room here after seeing photos of the breakfast which looked amazing online, we were very disappointed with the reality however. The cooked breakfast only consisted of very tired looking scrambled eggs and a few flimsy bits of bacon in a heated container. Water for tea was lukewarm and there wasn’t much of a selection of anything really, breakfast was nothing like the photos. The room was ok but basic for a 4 star, positives were that it was clean, a good size and the beds were very comfortable but there was no hand soap and toiletries in general were very tight, no conditioner either. The lack of complimentary water or tea/coffee in the room was a little surprising for a 4 star hotel. We ate once at the restaurant for dinner, the food was very good and the staff helpful as we had limited time. Overall a good stay but the breakfast was a real shame. Both the booking.com and hotel website seem to use photos from the hotel in Lake Garda despite showing the address as the Verona hotel, which is misleading. That is possibly where the good breakfast is…

very poor socket, need more than one should be. socket should have in the lampshade tables. Iron and iron board should have 1 for each room.

Accessible stay in Verona

The hotel is situated within 20 minutes walk from the town centre, what was absolutely fine for us. The staff was very helpful, the room spacious and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was fitted with accessible equipment and roll-in shower.

The lift doors are quiet narrow and the lifts are small. Maybe this is something to consider and check with the hotel staff before booking for a wheelchair user with a wider wheelchair.
