TV in family room did not work for any streaming channels. Called and emailed Liquid Life and got NO response. One afternoon, someone came in while we were on the beach, turned on all the TVs and did not fix anything. Creepy!!- Cushions on the balcony sofa have no padding- White couch in family room needs cleaning

Our trip was a family of 10 (4 adults + 6 children ranging from 10 months to 15). There were pros and cons. The communication from day 1 was very quick to answer all of our questions. The location of Pelican Pointe was close enough to everything. The beach area was not crowded at all. We went different times of the day and were always able to get a spot at the front near the water. The balcony was very spacious and held all of our beach equipment and left plenty of room to lounge. Everyone loved the indoor and outdoor pool. The condo itself needs some work. A lot of the pots and pans were not in the best shape. The dishwasher did not work and with a crew of 10 was pretty terrible to hand wash dishes. The floors were not clean at all; our feet were black from walking barefoot within the 1st hour of being there. There was never enough hot water for more than 2 people every single night, so 8 of us had cold showers. The king and queen beds were not comfortable at all.

Condo was perfect for what we needed!! Great views, clean, plenty of space, and right by the pool and beach. Close to restaurants and shopping. Only negative and has nothing to do with our specific condo, but security was a little much. Security banged on our door 9 pm to tell us about towels with our baby sleeping and chased down our car to check our parking pass. Also told us not allowed to throw small balls in the pool (we have a baby with us and thought that was excessive.) no complaints otherwise!!

The condo is located in such a nice area. A few flaws with the room itself such as freezer door was froze shut, majority of outlets didn’t work, TVs were hard to operate . Be prepared there a a few “hidden” rules such as not being able to hang towels off banister or having music playing while relaxing on balcony. We had a group of 6 and only had 4 towels and washcloths for 4 days. A miscommunication with beach towels and hair dryers being readily available to us caused somewhat of a problem. Renting the beach chairs were easy but expensive. All in all a decent location but will look around before going back. The condo just needs some work done

This unit was perfect! Spent most of our time on the balcony, the furniture is as comfortable as it looks. The inside sofa was also plush and the beds slept great too! PP 303 was perfect in every way. We placed a call for maintenance, they showed up within 30 mins. The AC was serviced that day, as well as the slow draining bathroom sinks. They were slow again the next day so will need to be further assessed.

However I was VERY disappointed with the way Liquid Life handled the management of our balcony being closed. Our email informed us there was construction and the pool was closed. It stated the balcony to some units may OR may not be closed, if it were, they would notify us IMMEDIATELY. So imagine our surprise upon arrival to find it CLOSED, we WERE NOT notified at all! Oh but they did offer up another room with a balcony, for $2000 dollars more! Shame on you Liquid Life, I will NEVER rent from you again, AND several of my coworkers who were thinking about going with you have absolutely changed their mind!

Reviewer Comments: 1st off this condo sleeps 10 and had 9 and there were only 8 towels and 2 wash clothes, 2 trash bags & 2 rolls of toilet paper. Then they closed the pool for the entire, which we did receive and email regarding 4 days before our arrival and that it was due to construction which lead us to believe the pool was being worked on, no the pool was closed off so that they could spend each day setting up a different area and then never did any work. There was no reason the pool had to be closed the entire time. I would not suggest this location to anyone until “construction” is complete.

- Funky smell on arrival - No info on condo or how to use things, such as necessity to rent beach chairs, nearby restaurants and points of interest. First time I've not had something like that. - Dishwasher wasn't working. Toilets wobbled on their bases. - Air conditioning wasn't working. - There was no remote for living room fan/light. - No Netflix or internet on TVs, even though it was a "smart TV." With no guide it was a hunt for something to watch in the evening. - Sectional on balcony stained and torn - Dirty dishes in the cupboard - Still a lot of construction noise. When I went back to look at this property, I noticed many of these items had been complained about before. I don't know whether the previous guests bothered to contact the property managers. They were johnny on the spot and got things fixed immediately. The only exception was the sectional on the balcony, which is one of the reasons we selected this unit. It seems like the unit is owned by an "absentee landlord." Many of these items should've been take care of a long time ago. Thank you, Liquid Life. The first few days weren't fun, especially with extremely high temps and humidity. You definitely took care of business.

Great location but needs a refresh and repairing. One of the bunk beds was so wiggly I was hesitant to let my child sleep in it. The other bunk bed had such an awful mattress that every time my son moved it was REALLY noisy and woke up the other kids. Also, the toilet in the master bath is wobbly. Great location, easy check in, but I wouldn’t stay at this condo again.

The condo has a lot of signs of wear and tear. Many of the doors are hard to open and close. When we arrived there was a horrible smell in the condo. We bought air fresheners and cleaners to try and eliminate it. The dishwasher hardly works. It had to be ran several times just to clean. Some of the burners on the stove wouldn’t get hot enough to really boil water. The thermostat would be stuck on a number and wouldn’t let us change it. Then it randomly switched to vacation mode and was stuck at 78. The couch cushions are very saggy. It is easy to get lost in it which isn’t comfortable. My family got stuck in one of the elevators for 45 minutes and had to call the fire department to get us out. The outside pool was closed several days due to swarms of bees. The construction was SO loud. It woke us up at 8am every morning. There was no escaping it. The only way to avoid a massive headache was to leave the condo until 5pm when they quick working. This was not a relaxing vacation at all.

It was our second time to stay at the complex but our first time staying in this particular unit. The size of the unit was perfect for the 6 of us, and the kids loved the bunk bed room. The only slight issue that we encountered was that the microwave didn't work properly. We determined that it likely had something to do with the electrical connections to the unit because there were a couple of other outlets that didn't work, as well. It was not a deal breaker at all, and didn't even bother us enough that we notified anyone during our stay. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were a perfect escape from the somewhat chilly temps on a couple of the days that we were there, and the close proximity to the beach was ideal. We could watch our older kids from the balcony while they played in the sand, which made for some much needed adult relaxation on the amazing balcony. We will definitely look into staying at Pelican Pointe again, and we would also request this particular unit again.

The outdoor space is awesome. I will say the kitchen needs better stocked, for example the coffee wouldn’t even get hot because it didn’t have the correct pot. Beds were not comfy, none of the doors to the rooms shut good. I would say they could look into a better property management company. They were not easy to get in touch with. Didn’t respond back to our text. Late giving us check in information. One of the beds didn’t even have sheets on it when we got there. Not the first time I’ve had this experience with liquid life.

The cons: The condo could use some maintenance and the cleaning staff could do a better job by ensuring that all used towels from previous guests are removed. Only basic cable channels. The pros: Well equipped kitchen. Spacious and comfortable bedrooms. Nice bathrooms. A lot of balcony seating(although some cushions should be replaced). Overall the condo provided a relaxing vacation and the most beautiful ocean and sunset views.

Nice condo but needs better cleaning. The tile should have been wet mopped. Our feet were black from walking barefoot. We are former owners down there and our housekeepers were bad too. The HVAC system thermostat was constantly in need of resetting to be comfortable.

The check in was easy and early which we appreciated. The view was as described…. Great. The condo grounds were clean and cared for well. Was able to purchase a second parking pass for the week which was accommodating. Our complaint was with the condo itself. The floors were sandy and sticky. The furniture was light in color and had stains all over them. The pillows on the sectional were dirty and musty. The blinds in the bunk room were damaged which then allowed light in from the hallway outside the condo at night, also no blades in the ceiling fan in that room. Kitchen was not well stocked, as an example only 7 forks for a condo that sleeps 8 at least. The coffee pot was even old and would not brew without depositing grounds in the coffee. The kitchen island was loose and rickety. The air return vents over the stove and sink were covered with dust and dirt. The ceiling fan in the living room was covered with dust. The outside furniture was filthy and covered with stains. The floor outside had sticky areas and needed mopped. Outside furniture was broken, not repaired from a review I had read from the spring. Dead plant outside on the patio which was very uninviting. We have rented many VRBO’s over the years, this was by far the worst.

The bunk beds need fixed. They wobble and the slats are broken so the mattresses sink in. The ladder is not even attached. The cleanliness wasn’t the greatest. Showers needed attention. Cobwebs by the ceilings. Trash still under beds. The couch cushions need cleaned. We actually cleaned the balcony cushions which also needed it badly! Location was great! Balcony was great!

Orange beach is not for us. Lots of snooty people. Not only that we were supposed to have an early check in and we got screwed around all day after driving 11 hours all night by liquid life. Furniture was stained outside furniture was broken. It didn't look like it was cleaned at all inside and out. Sand everywhere. Not sure what the high cleaning fee is for. We will never visit orange beach again and we will definitely never work with liquid life again. Rude rude people!

Our family of 5 had a great time and felt right at home here! The views from the balcony were spectacular and we loved the easy beach access and pool. The condo itself was very spacious and lovely. It is well equipped with kitchenware and everything we needed to eat in. The beds were comfy and showers nice and hot. There are some minor issues that need updated (squeaky bathroom door and a couple of non-functioning outlets). The living room rug, sofa, and outdoor sofa cushions could stand to be replaced, or at a minimum need a thorough deep cleaning. If it weren’t for those items, I would give a 5 star review. We loved the unit, the area and would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Updated condo. Huge balcony. Convenient beach access. I hope the HOA will consider 2 parking passes in future once construction is complete. Delayed check-in. It would have been helpful to get a text letting us know checkin was delayed. I had to call to find that out. Overall, had a great time and would recommend this property.

Our family overall enjoyed our stay. However, there we things that needed addressed prior to our arrival and issues upon arrival. First was the lack of communication about their one car per unit policy, which we did not get notified of until 24 hours prior to arrival and only because I advised we had 2 cars arriving at different times. Little help was given for alternate parking options. This led to us searching around OB for parking for our second vehicle and had to pay 11.25 a day for the 7 days we were there. We arrived back to the condo after the 10 o'clock curfew for parking and there were several open spots. (I would like to add the gentleman working security the day we arrived, was more helpful and professional than anyone I spoke with on the phone. He was apologetic about the inconvenience and that was the only apology we ever received). Also, there was no notification during the booking process about the parking as well as condos and surrounding condos were under construction so there was occasional banging and drilling.As far as the unit itself, overall, it was as pictured and comfortable. The view was amazing! EXCEPT the cream-colored furniture indoor and outdoor is NOT clean and needs some serious TLC. There were visible stains on both sets of furniture. I was shocked someone was ok renting out their unit with couches that looked dirty. Other issues were a broken patio chair, a shaky kitchen island, a few loose outlets, and bad batteries in the master fan/light remote which we had to keep swapping with the living room. Bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and laundry soap if staying longer than 5 days.For what we paid for our stay, these are not the issues you should have to deal with. We will not rent this unit again or any unit from Pelican Pointe.
