I would like to file a complaint regarding an issue with my recent hotel reservation made through Booking.com. I made this reservation for my guest, and I am the one who paid for both the room and the deposit. However, because the hotel had my guest’s email address, they sent all room details, reservation information, and payment-related information directly to the guest instead of me. This situation is not acceptable for the following reasons: 1. I am the host and the person who made and paid for the reservation, but all reservation details were registered under the guest’s name. 2. I do not wish the guest to know the room price or payment details, yet all this information was shared with them. 3. The hotel is also planning to refund the deposit to the guest, even though I personally paid the deposit. This is a clear mistake in handling the reservation and payment information. All reservation details, payments, and deposit refunds should be communicated with and returned to the person who made the booking and paid, not the guest. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this issue and advise on how it can be corrected, including ensuring that the deposit is refunded to me. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Excellent hotel and helpful staff

Excellent room and facilities. All staff very helpful, but the 'Butler' on level 13 was exceptional (Tomas) he explained everything to us and helped with anything we needed. He was very friendly and showed us around the whole complex. Easy access to Souk via free shuttle, very wide breakfast choices and it was an excellent standard.

Possibly Price, but you would not expect it to be cheap !!!! The only other thing was some of the other guests that were very arrogant, but easily ignored !!!

Great for one time experience

The hotel looks amazing both from inside and outside. Everything is beautiful. Luxious atmosphere. The indoor poor is astonishing.

The staff are not professional. They told us we can get towels in water park but when we were there we were told we need to bring our own from hotel. We were back totally wet. The SPA is just ok but expensive. Things they provide give the feeling of overpriced: price ok for a luxious hotel but quality is under expectation. In sum it is still worthy to go if you haven't been there.

Felt like a dream

This place is like a dream, facilities are just amazing and staff are so warm and nice, food is just next level and rooms are the best I have seen so far.

Checkout took a very long time though I have informed that I have a flight to catch. It was all due to putting the room on DND, but still a hotel in this level should have fast solutions in place to solve a small issue like this.

We had a truly unforgettable experience at the iconic Jumeirah Burj Al Arab in Dubai. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional — the atmosphere, the service, and the attention to detail. A special highlight was our anniversary dinner at the Arabic restaurant, Al Iwan. When the staff member, Erin (I believe), learned we were celebrating, he went above and beyond to make it special. He brought rose petals to decorate our table and even surprised us with a beautiful rose. That thoughtful gesture made the evening truly memorable. Our overall stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were wonderful — attentive, kind, and professional throughout. Thank you to the Burj Al Arab team for making our celebration so meaningful. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious and heartfelt experience in Dubai.

Not worth the money but a very nice hotel

Iconic building and very luxurious; Hermes toiletries are an example. Location is great

Some of the staff were lacklustre; check in took ages simply because they sit you down and take your passport etc instead of just going to a desk, checking in, job done. Similarly on checkout, the bellboy coming to get the luggage from the room… we needed it straight away as we were immediately leaving but he simply put it in the luggage room despite me saying specifically not to do that. It’s like they have only one way of doing things… then the buggy driver was being overly “matey” with me, obviously trying to get me to give him a tip. It was cringe worthy. All the above are first world problems but when you’re spending £2k a night you don’t expect to have anything whatsoever to complain about.
