Very nice.

Lovely Swiss chalet design. Fabulous spa sauna / outside pool facility (don’t worry about the “textile free” no swimwear rule you can easily wear a towel). Good breakfast. Nice helpful staff. Lovely Mountain View’s.

The room was like an oven with an over efficient underfloor heating. The staff turned it down but it took a while to cool. It’s a bit far from town but the 121 bus is good and you get a free bus pass from the hotel.

Simply beautiful and relaxing

I truly enjoyed my stay at Salzano Hotel. The location is beautiful, the breakfast was very good, and the room was lovely and comfortable. Most importantly, the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Special thanks to Myriam🌸,who was incredibly cooperative and supportive beyond words. She genuinely cared about helping us and even followed up to make sure we had enjoyed our stay. She also kindly arranged breakfast for us, knowing we would miss it the next morning due to our very early trip to Milan. I travel twice a year, and honestly, I have never met a hotel reception staff member like her. This is the truth. I will definitely return again, as I truly enjoyed my stay.

Wonderful

Salzano is run by a lovely family, with a lot of love, and they do their very best to make sure to have a great stay. Much higher value for cost than many places in the area. The spa is great!

It’s was close to the city 6 minutes by car, quite area, they have EV charging station at the hotel parking but not free, the spa is amazing and the heated pool

Wonderful solo birthday stay to relax and enjoy Switzerland

I loved the balcony and friendly service. The staff were all brilliant especially Elaine. The note on my birthday was pleasant and the chocolates were lovely.

I didn’t like I couldn’t go in the pool when it was raining. No one explained why and also it didn’t state online it is a naked spa.

Luxurious, relaxing, traditional and divine

Everything; the room was spacious, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the spa was amazing, our dinner at the restaurant was exceptional, the decor and vibe felt really traditional and the view from our room was stunning. We could have stayed for weeks and weeks here.

A nice relaxing stay with a beautiful view.

The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. The breakfast was very good and provided a variety of options. The spa area was great. The spa staff was wonderful and the setting was a perfect way to relax and rejuvinate for the next day.

The fan in our room did not work. We reported the issue but the fan was not replaced or fixed during our stay. The hotel room was a little old and could have used some updating.

Warm and friendly hotel set in beautiful country, within very easy reach of Interlaken

The views from our balcony were beautiful, it was such a restful place to spend time just watching the changes in light and mood over the mountains. The room was comfortable, especially the beds. The staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was particularly good; Beautifully presented food with a lot of high quality local ingredients. The breakfast buffet was also pretty decent with a variety of nice, fresh bread. It's about 20-30 mins walk from Interlaken but it's a lovely walk and the bus comes frequently and gets into town in about 5 minutes.

The staffs do not respond to your requests. The morning receptionist was very rude. No politeness at all. I asked for a late check out and she came to the room to tell us to leave 15 minutes after check out time. The property does not advise spa timings on booking.com On the day of my check out i was not allowed to use the spa. And they did not advertise that they open 2pm. They told me this when i was about to use the spa. The arrogant receptionist also said that they advertise this on their website, but tourists usually use booking.com so they would not know. She did not seem to want to work. Very bad attitude for a receptionist. We paid high value for the property and could not even use the spa or swimming pool. Worst experience i had in switzerland. Good property but the people working there make it worse.

Wish we could have stayed longer

Lovely friendly and clean hotel. Just a little outside the city but only 5 minutes on the bus from the train station and you get a guest pass allowing free travel and the public transport system is very efficient. Personally we preferred this quieter location. The room was lovely, beds comfy and great shower. Spa access included and we enjoyed taking a dip in the hot tub and relaxing in the steam room after a long day exploring the mountains. Food in the restaurant was superb, the menu doesn’t have a massive choice which I was initially worried about as a somewhat fussy eater however I really enjoyed the pasta, absolutely delicious. Breakfast was also very nice, if I’m being picky I’d say there wasn’t much variety compared to other hotels however what was on offer was good. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. When booking I looked at several hotels in Interlaken and I’m really glad I went for this one, I was nervous about the transport situation before arriving but it’s really very simple and definitely worth the hassle. We would absolutely love to return

A missed opportunity for a comfortable stay

Food. The breakfast spread was monotonous : almost the same everyday for the week's stay. The dinner was only European. Flies in the restraunt was unhealthy. No effort to remove / kill them. If you cannot prevent ingress, at least find ways to eliminate them. The toiletries were limited. No moisturisers for example

Was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Shower was very good. Nice having staff in traditional dress. Tea/coffee, safe and fridge in the room. Nice view at the back of gardens and mountains. Interesting décor.

Pity the spa is only for nude use, we therefore didn't use it.

great couples place near Grindelwald

We loved this place--it was so cute and relaxing. I wish we had booked an additional night. The area is beautiful too. I definitely took advantage of the steam room and sauna, and the small pool outside. The included breakfasts were fantastic, it was hard not to eat too much. We had also booked dinner there and it was so good we booked again the next night. The products in the bathroom and spa smelled wonderful, we bought some to take home. :)

From our particular room, we could hear a bit of noise. we were very close to the reception desk. Probably the other rooms didn't have this issue.

Stunning mountain views making for a great location

Hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by stunning views of the mountains. We stayed here as a break in our road trip and the highlight was breakfast on the patio looking out at the stunning scenery. Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome, giving us a room upgrade. We saw a lot of people outside leaving to hike or with skis, so I imagine it's a convenient location for that too.

1. No aircondition so forced ro open windows and doors. Since the room faced a main street, all we heard was cars all day and night. 2. Mattresses are extremely low quality. Can feel the springs. Bed is broken 3. Pillows sink as soon as you place your head on them 4. Elevator is extremely slow and old 5. The "free wifi" is horrible quality 6. TV is placed in an awkward spot in the room

Overall nice stay

Very nice staff, we got complementary champagne on the house due to the error with our temperature in the shower. The food in the restaurant is exquised! Nice breakfast.

The SPA area is only a Sauna, there are no swimming pool etc. We also booked a sports massage, and it was not worth it considered the price you pay. The hotel is also located some place outside of the center, and the buss is every 30 minutes. The water in our room was cold when we tried to take a shower.
