Fantastic hotel with excellent staff, service and facilities. Beautiful baroque ambiance with modern trimmings. Try the tea (and everything else), it's amazing!

Lovely grand hotel. Well appointed and spotlessly clean. 10 minute walk to the train station with regular trains into Cologne. Good parking, valet parking and you can also park yourself which is good. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.
Hotel was busy with weddings - understandable as its a beautiful hotel - but this seemed to drain service as getting hold of staff in the bar was problematic; but maybe not connected? Breakfast was very busy and the food was all concentrated in a corridor which was a bit chaotic. Long queues when checking out.

Old Mattress, with a big dent in the middle. Which is absolutely not acceptable for a Hotel like this. Room noisy. I called reception a few times. nobody answered the phone. I asked to get a back out of my car, which took 45 min. I was already on my way to reception to complain because nobody answer the phone, when the concierge finally was also on his way to my room
