About this hotel
The hotel is located in the heart of Minden, close to the market place, surrounded by the Minden cathedral, the city hall as well as by many half timbered houses of the city. Built in 1840, it now has been transformed into a jewel of architecture.

The staff were lovely and so friendly. The bonus of car parking on site was great. Lovely clean room and the breakfast was lovely too. It’s located right on the square, which is bustling with fun and laughter. The hotel is tight in the centre of Minden. Will definitely return.

Tolle Lage zwischen Fussgängerzone und Weser-Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Schiffsmühle und Schiffsanleger. Gastronomie direkt darum herum. Fußgängerzone verleitet zum Einkauf ;-)
Parksituation etwas schwierig - Personal hat aber gute Hinweise zur Lösung gegeben!

The hotel is right on the main square and handy to everything. It is a short taxi ride from the railway station. My room was enormous for a single person, and my daughter and husband's room was small - there was no sense to this. I had a large bathroom with a bath.
The reception area is poky and the staff were a little unfriendly and not interested in helping with questions - in fact one woman was actually rude. There is no facility for them to print something which was very inconvenient. There is no air-conditioning or fan in the room and it was unbearably hot for most of the nights we stayed.
