Novotel München City

Very close to Deutsches Museum. Easy access to Isar river. On one end of tourist area. Has nice walking paths nearby. Great restaurants in area. Pool was descent. Carpet was older, but very clean room.

We liked it overall. No major issues at all. No direct subway access. About 45 minute walk from train station (though the walk is very nice, through major tourism areas). A good location for young travellers but older travellers would need to arrange transportation if arriving by train. Could probably take tram or subway part of the way. Pillows were slightly hard. Pool was kinda cold. But these are very very minor. Overall, we liked our stay.

Very convenient to everywhere.

The staff were all friendly and happy to help and made our stay exceptional. Checking in and out was breess. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. We had breakfast that was a crowd pleaser for the entire family. The pool and gym were great and the kids had a great time swimming even in the fall weather. The location of the hotel was great - close to main transportation hubs and a few minutes from the Deutsches Museum.

There were no separate lights switches so it's either the entire room is lit or dark

Check in/out and furnishings were all great.

Advertised A/C in rooms did not work well. We had two rooms, neither would drop below about 23 C. It was a hot summer and we selected this hotel based on claimed A/C.
