Hotel Astrid am Kurfürstendamm

I loved the historical nature of the property - Its in a classic Mietshaus and really has old world charm with high ceilings It is good value for money and the location next to Kurfustendamm is a big plus

Everything was good - just the furnishings and room were a bit dated but since it is an old property with rooms from the early 20th century or even earlier - that is to be expected and not that much of an issue

Staff - amazing Location - exceptional It's a basic room with nothing extra no tea/coffee facilities in the room and, the one pay for coffee machine in reception wasn't working.

I travel a lot for work and I’ve stayed in a range of accommodations from hostels to hotels, and, for me, the best accommodation does these 3 things: the room has a clean bathroom with a warm shower, the bed comfortable, the location is within easy reach of where I want to go. Everything else is secondary. I travel to visit a PLACE not a hotel. Does Hotel Astrid satisfy these criteria? Yes. Absolutely. Is it a little ‘tired’? A bit ‘foxed’? Sure, but that’s unimportant. The rooms were spacious, the shower was warm, the beds comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful, and the location was within walking distance of local attractions and near public transport for everything else. BONUS: great value for money for such a central location. Ausgezeichnet.

Location, is next to the Kurfurstendamm with easy access to subway station Savignyplatz. There are loads of cool, affordable coffee houses and restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Room was clean, but quite outdated. The shower head was awful (very little water came out). Otherwise no complaints since this is a low budget hotel.
