ARCOTEL Velvet Berlin

We loved the location as it was very near awesome places and restaurants. Beside the Fotographiska Museum and walkable distance to Mitte shopping area! surrounded by good food options. Would also book for a private trip.

Really spacious and clean room with a great view. The location was ideal and made getting around very easy.

Nothing major, but the facilities are maybe basic.

I prefer secure wifi and a fridge in the room.

When we arrived (10pm) there was no one on reception, no bell or way of finding or alerting anyone. We phoned the number - phone on reception rang but no one appeared. The member of staff who eventually turned up had clearly gone for a long break. No apologies. Very standoffish and clear we were putting him out by turning up. They got the city tax wrong so check out took a long time - a pain as we had a taxi waiting and the original member of staff who charged the city tax was at reception as well as the colleague who was checking us out and not one word of apology, just a purse of the lips and a shrug.
