Location was great for walking to some places of interest and train station, 20 mins.
Lovely area with good choices of bars and restaurants,
Staff are helpful and friendly.
Breakfast was good.

Great location in the city. Really easy check in, and the rooms were very comfortable.
On arrival the member of staff at the desk was not the friendliest, we greeted and with no response. Just a bit unfriendly after a long journey to get there. But there were other great friendly staff there over the weekend.

When we arrived (10pm) there was no one on reception, no bell or way of finding or alerting anyone. We phoned the number - phone on reception rang but no one appeared. The member of staff who eventually turned up had clearly gone for a long break. No apologies. Very standoffish and clear we were putting him out by turning up.
They got the city tax wrong so check out took a long time - a pain as we had a taxi waiting and the original member of staff who charged the city tax was at reception as well as the colleague who was checking us out and not one word of apology, just a purse of the lips and a shrug.
