The hotel meets expectations, but the payment, booking and checkin system inspires distrust.

The place is clean, central, standard.

We called to say that we would be at the hotel at 8:25PM, and the person from the hotel would not let us come and pay at the hotel, they insisted like crazy to get our credit card information by phone. We told them that they have our credit card anyway, because we had to provide it to booking.com to book the room, but they said they didn't have access to it. We sait that we would cancel, and they said that in this case they would charge the card that was provided to booking.com. A total nonsense. We ended up arriving at 8:25, 5 minutes before the lobby closes, and paid out there, but the overall impression of someone trying to fraud by forcing us to tell them the credit card by phone has been very unpleasant.

You couldn’t do better for the price

It was an easy walk from the train station and close to the centre of Carpentras. It was very clean and the rooms comfortable with a very nice breakfast in an ambient setting. The owners(staff) were friendly and helpful. All these factors came into consideration and that’s why I stayed at The Forum again after staying here a couple of years earlier on a trip from Australia. I would have no hesitation in recommending you do yourself a favour and stay at The Forum if you are in the area. Adrian Eaves

City center hotel - great location

Hotel in the centre of Carpentras. Great location.

Hotel needs an update. The rooms are dated, the beds are too small and not comfortable. 10 years ago the room was the same.

Very helpful and co-operative staff (owner? manager?) Bike stored in garage, but access to this was a bit awkward. Excellent breakfast We were three in a room, could have done with a little more storage space.

Great location. Close to the train station if arriving on public transport. The hotel was clean and tidy.

As a suggestion, it would be nice to have access to a coffee machine if leaving early before breakfast.

Really nice hotel-try it!

Perfect breakfast on the small terrasse. All we needed was there. Really good service from the staff Got some nice information to find a perfect place for dinner

Nice clean and comfortable place to stay, so long as they give you the entrance code!

The opening hours are limited, and you need a code to access the front door. I wasn’t given the code at check-in. I returned before the closing time but it was already closed and I had a lot of trouble getting into the hotel.

Good place to stay

The availability of a buffet-style breakfast; especially for biking the rest of the day. Good place to stay and is near the station. Reception was helpful and welcoming.

Check in times was a bit inconvenient but at least the information was given beforehand. Better parking for bikes needed. What they had was unstable.

not much…this was probably our fault as I thought it would be a lot more luxurious and comfortable…..This place would suit business people wanting a hotel in town rather than a place to relax….However, the staff were wonderful and so kind, helpful and friendly….and the breakfast was great.

Sadly, this is not a holiday hotel, it’s probably ok for business people just wanting an overnight bed but it was a disappointment for us….Whilst the position is near to the centre or town it is not in a very nice position and the area is rather “run down” and a bit rough. I wouldn’t recommend staying in Carpentras.

because we arrived one minute after 10. we weren’t allowed to have breakfast anymore. there were multiple people still eating but the owners denied us breakfast. I would highly recommend the owners look up the word hospitality in the dictionary.
