Hôtel très agréable et très propre. Accueil adorable. Et très bon petit déjeuner. Et une décoration qui donne la pêche qui se distingue des hôtels classiques.

Swimmingpool with sunbeds and towels
Normally I don't write long reviews but this one needed some explanation to show how things can pile up.
We came from Spain and arrived at 3.30 in this Safari hotel. When we arrived, the lady at the reception was not really welcoming and said that we can check-in at 4pm. Not a problem as this was clear from Booking.com (only 30 min difference). Then our children put on their bathing suits as it was 35 degrees and they wanted to swim.
The lady rushed outside and said (in not a nice way) that we can't use the pool before 4pm (only after check-in because she didn't receive all my check-in details). I thought that was a bit strict / strange as we already send a lot of details over via Booking.com and it was 3.30 pm.
We then could check-in at 4pm. The same receptionist then indicated that there was an accident a couple of weeks ago in the swimmingpool and therefore we can't access the pool before check-in. Why didnt she explained that straight away? Strange way of welcoming guests. During this check-in I made a reservation (as this was recommented) for the dinner that evening at 7pm. We finally could get some drinks at 6 pm (bar only opens at 6 pm) We saw the menu and we changed our mind -as we were more hungry than we thought and the kids wanted to have something else than tapas-. We had a reservation at 7 pm but we announced our cancelation at 6.30 pm. The same lady clearly wasn't pleased about this cancelation and asked why we didn't want to stay as she didn't explain the menu to us. We indicated that we already checked the Tapas menu and we didn't think this was for us. Same lady with not a nice attitude.
We honestly didn't feel welcome in this hotel at all. After having a lovely dinner in a nearby restaurant with nice staff we came back. I asked for a glass of wine at the bar and that same lady poured one (not the same wine I had before) and she just put it at the table without saying anything.
