Lille City Hotel

Perfect location. Right in the centre where we needed to be. Very small room but practical enough.

When we first entered the room there was a strong sewer smell, which didn't seem to be coming from the bathroom, maybe the room vents. Over our stay it got less and less

Awkward located in a gallery that is used as public sleeping quarters Not safe at all Crazy small room, could barely open the door to the bedroom or the bathroom Very hot, bad aeration Breakfast was a 2/5 , quite poor products, and staff randomly picked some food and ate quickly while working

Really close to the centre of the City

Rooms to much tiny and without any locker, definitely it does very expensive for only 5 days comparison other structure.

Very good location, right in the centre of town. Room was clean. The staff were friendly.

The entrance to the hotel looks incredibly run down and smells of urine. Although it's probably not managed by the hotel, it really put me off wanting to stay there. The room is incredibly small, fine for one night, but wouldn't want to stay much longer. There was a chair and a desk but you couldnt use it, because it was so tightly jammed at the end of the bed.

It is a very bad hotel…

The location is fantastic at the centre of the city. The room was clean, although it was small. A bit upgrade should be done on a shower but not a big deal.

Breakfast seems to be a bit limited.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL YOUR THINGS WILL BE STOLEN. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights at the start of the month. I used to live in Lille and was back visiting friends and we just wanted a low budget city centre hotel so this seemed ok. First impressions were a very basic room and clean so we didn’t mind, was worth what we paid. The only valuable I had on me was my beats headphones as we only had hand luggage and we thought nothing of it when leaving them in the room. As we left the room we thought everything was still in our bags and nothing was lying around and after we left we realised we didn’t have the headphones. We saw the headphones in the room and were 100% there we didn’t use them outside of the room. We then phoned and asked if they could get them from the room and my friend will collect them and they said they weren’t there after a lot of back and forth through email and phone they have been rude and unhelpful and are accusing us of lying. They also said this has never happened in their hotel when I have read other reviews since this incident that it has happened. I have never written a bad review about anywhere before as I am usually happy with what I pay for and have never had a bad experience hence why this was so unexpected for me, however, they were stolen from the room and on the phone they said there’s nothing they can do if cleaners take things from your room which is saying they are free to just go in without permission and take what they want. Also to add, there’s no option to not get your room cleaned as me and my boyfriend never really bother as it’s only a couple of days and we even said to one cleaner who knocked our door we don’t want the room cleaned but we came home to the bed made anyway. We have had no help and still not got the headphones back so just wanted to warn others out there to not stay here you will get your things stolen.
