Its location in the heart of Osnabrück's old town is superb, with shops, restaurants and the city's beautiful historic centre on the doorstep. Being so centrally located means there is occasionally some street noise, but it is a small price to pay for such a wonderful setting. The hotel strikes a rare balance. Stylish yet comfortable, elegant yet unpretentious, traditional without feeling dated. Every detail appears to have been thoughtfully considered. What truly sets Walhalla apart, however, is its service. The staff are exceptional: friendly, welcoming and highly professional. Nothing appears too much trouble, yet everything is handled with effortless efficiency. The food was outstanding. Dinner was excellent, while breakfast was among the very best I have experienced in a hotel. The quality, variety and attention to detail were remarkable. Throughout the hotel there are countless thoughtful touches that create the feeling of being genuinely looked after. It is hospitality done properly. The Romantik Hotel Walhalla understands something many hotels seem to have forgotten: luxury is not about gimmicks or marketing slogans. It is about comfort, quality, attention to detail and making guests feel welcome. When I return to Osnabrück, I shall save myself the trouble of researching alternatives and simply book Walhalla again.

Great stay, proper rooms and very decent staff. Would like te return some day

Parking was rather expensive, but cant complain too much about it since it was underneath the hotel. Room was too hot, and could do with a fridge. Also a coffee & tea unit in the room wouldve been nice to have.

The breakfast was an additional charge bug of good quality.

The dinner was disappointing. Stodgy food and ill- attentive staff
