It would have been nice to have been able to make coffee in the apartment. A coffee pot and cups, etc. were available, but no coffee.

No one home, decided not to wait, drove off

Nil, see below; we did not stay.

We arrived 16:15 and found no one there. I called the phonenumber on the reservation, was told they were shopping (both!) and we needed to wait 30 mins... Told us it was in our reservation that arrival prior 17:00 needed a notification but I checked again and it wasn't there. Since payment would have needed cash and we saw no restaurants nearby (loaction is at edge of small village) we decided not to wait and drive off, heading for home.

A very lovely place

We were with a group of ten. We received a very warm welcome, in a relaxed setting. The bedrooms were cosy, the shared living room was very cosy, the bathrooms were big and comfortable. Everything was absolutely clean. The breakfast is simple, tasty, and made with love. The views from the rooms and from the garden were mesmerising. Situated atop a high hill, you can see so far every direction you look. We felt like we were all Heidi on holiday. Thank you frau Semler for making us feel very welcome. And see you next time 😊

Return visit just as good as the previous visit

We have stayed before so clearly like this property and will return again. The apartment is spacious with a separate bedroom to the living area and a good sized bathroom, which is spotlessly clean. We specifically appreciated arriving to a warm, cosy place on a cold winter's day and the underfloor heating in the bathroom. The hosts are very friendly and helpful

I like everything but bigger pillows and 2 per person would be even better. Also a small supply of coffee for the machine would be helpful as every machine needs different pods and you cannot be sure which ones to bring.

Large apt with amazing views

The location of the property is great with stunning panoramic views. The 4 bedroom apt which we rented was not in the main B&B house, but is just down the street from it in another house, along with what we assumed were at least two other apartments. The apt was very spacious for our family. Mr. Stemler, the host and owner, was extremely kind and accommodating.

The wifi was really terrible. We couldn't even get email to open or webpages to load. We were in the area for medical things, and had intended to leave part of the family at the apt during the day to work/school, but everyone ended up at the hospital each day just to get wifi.

The location was wonderful and peaceful. It's a great place for the whole family to relax, enjoy the outdoors and restore your strength. The breakfast was delicious, of good quality and a variety to choose from.

Spacious apartment near the top of the hill with an amazing view

The apartment was spacious and I could have my bike in the apartment with me.

The menu had almost nothing vegetarian or vegan. The staff was flexible enough, however, to work up some fried potatoes and salad for me though.

Location is just amazing. You get a beautiful landscape from restaurant. And the food was always kooked fresh and delicious. We had a small kid and kitchen staff were so kind to bring the food to our terasse. Very polite and proffesional staff. Only the best thought about this amazing place.

Sehr schöner Kurzurlaub

Von der Ankunft, über die Schlüsselübergabe und die Einweisung in die Ferienwohnung, die Übernachtung und das Frühstück am Morgen, alles war sehr gut. Hier kann man auch einen längeren Urlaub verbringen. Absolut ruhig gelegen, wir haben uns noch mit Fleisch aus Eigener Rinderzucht eingedeckt, so hatten wir ein tolles Mitbringsel für Zuhause. Die Rouladen waren sehr zart und lecker !!! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !!!

Sehr schöner Panoramagasthof mit großzügigen Zimmern und bequemen Betten

Gasthaus Stemler verdient den Nacmen Panorama Gasthof voll und ganz, 400 m hoch mit perfekter Rundumsicht in drei Himmelsrichtungen inkl. Donnersberg, Pfälzerwald etc. Das "Zimmer" war eine einfache Suite mit Wohnzimmer/Küche und Schlafzimmer mit Westbalkon, sehr schön. Frühstück war klassisch deutsch, mit eigenen Eiern glücklicher Hühner (neben dem Haus). Gasthof bietet werktags Essen für Hausgäste, Getränke immer, aber allgemeiner Gastronomiebetrieb ist mangels Personal eingestellt. Wirtin bittet um telefonischen Kontakt bei Buchung, insbesondere bei Buchung mit mit eigenen Tieren (grundsätzlich möglich).

Obwohl wir nur eine Nacht auf der Durchreise hier waren, wurden wir herzlich und familiär augenommen. Ein sehr schönes Landhotel mit atemberaubender Aussicht. (der Name ist in keiner Weise übertrieben) Das Essen ist sehr gut.
