Claudia made everyone comfortable, and was really really helpful. The place was nicely done. I took pictures of some bits for possible use in the house we're building. The dog was an added bonus, a real love bug. The location was perfect for us. It was really, really quiet at night. Everyone slept well. And we went out to see the stars at night -- the basic goal of the trip. This part of the Alentejo is perfect for bicycles. You have to take plenty of water, but there's almost no traffic and the scenery is jaw-dropping. Unlike most of Portugal it's reasonably flat. And Claudia has great bike maps.

Nothing important. The hose to one of the shower heads leaked, so we worried about water usage. This was just a really, really nice place.

Claudia and family were very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, and the food they served was very good also.

Great location for astrophotography. Claudia was an incredible host and consistently went above and beyond. Her food was incredible and she was so helpful. We rented the e-bikes available and this was great fun, would definitely recommend doing so!

Nothing - it was all great!

If you want to be completely out of the way, this is the place. I spent two nights here and it was perfect for exploring the area. It is decidely rural, so if you're looking for entertainment hot spots, this is not for you. Hiking, motorbiking, cycling, yes. A big bonus is the hostess, who is not only helpful and gracious but also professionally involved in developing the region in ways that are environmentally aware. As such, she is able to give her guests a distinctive insight into the region and its possibilities.

Dogs yapping in the village, but that comes with the territory ...
