The location and amount of space was great!

The only small thing I’d change is that the bedding in the rooms near the windows were a bit damp.

Senhor Luis was welcoming and explained the whole property to us. He kept in communication prior to our check in. The property is spacious and has aircon. This is important especially for the hot days in Beja in summer. There was access to a common washing machine and washing line, very useful when traveling. Good wifi and selection of TV channels. Good location as it was close to shopping centres and restaurants when travelling by car. As a family, we enjoyed our stay.

The only downside was the time to check in and check out. We wanted to check in at 2pm but the host could only meet us at 5:30pm. On check out we wanted to leave at 11am but the cleaning lady had to be there before 10:30am. There was not a lot of flexibility to meet our needs.

Boa casa, quartos confortáveis, Ar condicionado nos quartos e sala. O proprietário prontamente ajustou o que estava em falta durante o checkin e primeiras horas - toalhas, papel higiénico e secador de cabelo.

Horario de check-in não foi cumprido pelo proprietário, a limpeza da casa não estava concluída à tempo. Limpeza da casa muito fraca, lençois e mantas entulhadas sem dobrar no armário, MUITAS (mesmo muitas!) formigas na cozinha, e o pateo parecia não ter sido limpo. Necessário pasciencia na comunicação com o proprietário, pois parece que ele pensa estar a fazer favores aos hospedes quando na verdade está a prestar um serviço.

Die Wohnung liegt ca. 10 - 15 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet. Die Kommunikation mit unserem Gastgeber verlief reibungslos und wir haben uns persönlich zur Schlüsselübergabe und Einweisung vor Ort getroffen. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt als Selbstversorger benötigt. Während die generelle Bausubstanz schon ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel zu haben scheint, war das Bad wohl relativ neu modernisiert. Vor und hinter dem Haus gibt es Terrassen. Wir konnten fast direkt vor der Haustür kostenfrei parken. Das war klasse.

Die Wohnung war insgesamt nicht so sauber. Etwas staubig in den Zimmern und unter den Betten. In der Dusche waren noch Haare und ein altes Pflaster von Vormietern. Ebenso hatten Vormieter offenbar Fisch im Kühlschrank gelagert. Dieser roch ziemlich streng und unangenehm. Was wirklich nicht so schön war: das dritte "Schlafzimmer" ist im Prinzip eigentlich eine Kammer, sehr eng und klein, gelegen unter eine Treppe mit entsprechender Schräge und ohne Fenster. Das wurde so aus der Anzeige nicht ersichtlich.
