A very disappointing holiday

Staff at reception was helpful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Rooms were kept really clean. Had good WiFi reception.

Never stayed at the Ramada as we had too. They transferred us to the kompas hotel as they had overbooked the Ramada. We had a mountain view room which was nice but too hot even with the heaters off so we slept with the balcony door slightly ajar. But the noise from the ice machines on the mountains made it impossible to sleep. You could even hear them with the doors closed. On all night every night except for one between Saturday and Sunday.

for 4 starts hotel I would expect some kettle in room, as well there is almost no power sockets in room, almost not possible to charge laptop and 2 mobile phones at same time.

Good but not great

Location was good. Also the room was a good size and well furnished. The hotel and room both were very clean. There was ample parking right outside which proved to be useful.

The staff during check in was courteous, but quite matter of fact and not especially helpful when we asked a few questions. They seemed in a hurry to finish the conversation even though there was no one else around to serve. Breakfast was average and lacking in options of good bread and cheese, but passable.

Location was perfect, and buffet breakfast was amazing.

A bit dated but not a big deal at all, still very clean and tidy. Was missing kettle in the room to make a quick coffee/tea.

Friendly hotel staff and location.

No air conditioning. Noise pollution from church bells every 15 minutes through the night. Room temperature unbearable. Noise pollution from bars below. Poor quality food at breakfast buffet. Poor quality Ramada hotel

Great location, great staff

Great location, staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was the best we had during our whole trip throughout Slovenia!

We visited in during the heatwave. When we entered our room it was already boiling hot. No AC and no fan. We did not sleep well.

Weekend stay in the beautiful Kranjska gora

The hotel was situated in the center of the Kranjska gora. Everything was perfect, the room was clean and big enough. The bed was comfortable. There was enough towels. The staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was excellent with lot of food choices. The parking was free for the guests. What I would like to have improved: maybe internet speed. It's ok for standard surfing, but when you want to upload larger amount of images (it is hard not to have them a lot), then I wish it were faster.

What I recommend for the most of the hotels. Please, use more quality juice for the breakfast. How much does it cost 1L of the 100% juice (imagine that 2 guest drink 1L during breakfast - which is a lot)? Aprox 3€. Incorporate this 3€ in the room price (no one would notice) and provide better juice.

Nice room, very clean and cozy, comfortable bed. Location of the hotel is great, in the heart of Kranjska Gora, walking distance to the restaurants, coffee bars and playgrounds. Staff is very polite and helpful, and the breakfast delicious as always, with broad variety of meals.

Nice short stay in Kranjska Gora

Ramada Hotel&Suites was closed during our stay as a result of optimization of business process (that is minimizing costs provided current booking situation). So they offered us an upgrade to a hotel Ramada Resort 4*, Borovska cesta 99, 4280 Kranjska Gora (also part of the same, Hit Alpinea, hotel chain). They accomodated us in a double room with mountain view. All conditions remained the same. We were very pleased how they solved the situation.

Dissatisfied stay

Position wasn't bad

Basically, one power socket for living room situated far from beds. Broken doors to balcony (wasn't sealing, couldn't open easily. Some kids' camps are accommodated on the same floor as other guests. And since kids were without supervision, they started running and screaming from 7 am and finished at about 11 pm. In this case, they should have a dedicated floor. Thus, we did checkout one day before our stay.

Very pleasant hotel in a great location

Central location in Kranjska Gora suited our needs perfectly. Lots of space in the room, with our room having the benefit of a balcony. Mini fridge proved very useful during our stay. Breakfast options were great and use of the swimming pool was enjoyable.

We stayed in the height of summer so lack of aircon was annoying, however the hotel happily provided fans. The curtains are not blackout blinds so ambient light from the main street was dominating at night. No coffee or tea facilities, however, once again, the hotel were kind enough to supply a kettle and cups on request. Room servicing occurred very late in the day meaning we tended to return to our room before cleaning. We felt the hotel could benefit from modernization in some areas.

Very comfortable stay in a beautiful location

Very good central location, opposite the little supermarket and with a superb view of the mountains. Buffet dinner only 16 Euros and well worth it, helpful head waiter too. Balcony with chairs. Good breakfast too. Ideal for walking in the area, a beautiful location.

An enjoyable but brief stay in beautiful surroundings

Large family room, large bathroom, very clean, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast choice. The breakfast room was very busy but it didn’t seem noisy and there was no wait at the buffet as it is well set out. Great location in the centre of town. Parking by the door. Didn’t use the pool or have dinner.

The sofa bed for my son was in the way of the balcony door. The decor was dated. These were minor issues.

Superb

The buffet breakfast was really selective and delicious, so as the dinner. The staff was really helpful and kind. The view from our room was very beutiful.

The bed was really unconfortable, in the middle of the bad there was a "hole". The carpark wasnt big enough for all of the guests, so I had to park multiple times at the athor park, 100 meters away from the hotel, but that was not a big problem.

It was worth it and I would come again

Breakfast is fine and relaxed experience. The hotel is easily accessible by car. Hotel's staff is kind.

All the skiing related facilities could be improved (ski-room and lockers are too tight, dragging the equipment to the slopes is painful process through the garage and then using the side streets carrying all the staff)

Superb

We liked the comfort, location in the centre of Kranjska Gora, easy walking access to the ski slopes and excellent breakfast with wide variety of meals. Our daughter especially liked mini pancakes.

There was no free parking space in the hotel so we had to park in the public parking not very near to the hotel.

Good place for a ski trip, but if you want to be closer to ski lifts stay at Ramada Resort.

Breakfast was good, plenty of choices. Location was good, but did regret did not book the other Ramada, as there you walked straight out to the ski field. The staff were all helpful and cheerful, they made our stay wonderful.
