    Balaia is a lovley resort. It has many pools om offer. The apartments are a great size & well equipped. There is a beach no more than 10 minutes over the main road. The area is away from the business of Albufeira & feels very peaceful. There is a small Spar on site & kain supermarkets are maximum 10 minutes away in a taxi which you can pick up on uber for around €5.

    This was our fourth stay at Balaia Golf Village and we will continue to return. Lovely apartments in beautiful gardens with a number of swimming pools to choose from and a fairly priced central bar/restaurant. Within walking distance of one beach and a short drive to others. Lots of restaurants nearby, but the atmosphere onsite is relaxed and quiet.

    The resort itself is gorgeous, with six pools! It's nice and quiet, and the room was clean. It had everything except a washing machine, but the big freezer and dishwasher for a one-bedroom aren't really needed. The food was just okay, no fresh veggies. Breakfast wasn't great either, the same stuff every day. One pool bar was closed, and the other was open only five days with not much food, just pizza and pasta. We've been going back there for ten years, and the food and service were always excellent. There was music in the background, and the guys could watch football and have a few drinks. Jenny was the heart of the place... We went to the pool bar, and there were two ladies from staff yelling in Russian so loud; it was embarrassing. Whoever took over isn't doing a good job... SO SO DISAPPOINTING.
