The hotel has lots of lovely touches. Milk dispensers on all floors, cute decor, open fires and a spa. Breakfast was good - a lovely selection. The restaurant was very well presented with pleasant staff.
We weren’t given robes and slippers despite paying for spa access and my husband booking a £100 massage. Not the end of the world, but for a two night stay this would’ve been nice. Beef brisket at dinner was dry - it was refunded when we raised this.

Restaurant for breakfast and the bar and grill was fantastic, great location.
The room was cramped, the bunk beds had a foisty smell and it was very hot overnight.

Having stayed there many times in the past it was as we had expected. A really great hotel helpful staff and great food
Having booked bed, breakfast and dinner at a quoted price of £550.80 for a two night stay they then charged me an additional £163.65 which I could not understand and when I challenged them they gave a refund of £70.
Their paperwork was shambolic and I am still not satisfied with their accounting. I shall be taking this up directly with the hotel.
