Beautiful old building with nicely designed interior The room was stunning with beautiful views

Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Zero roll call to check all residents were out of their rooms. For all they knew I could have still been in my bed! Very dangerous. As I said above,the bedroom was stunning to look at but the smell on entering the bathroom of what I can only describe as old boiled cabbage soon filled the entire room and was present in all the plugholes throughout the night. Havod full breakfast listed a large array of items and when the plate arrived there wasn’t a single mushroom in sight. The beans were cold, as was the sausage, the poached egg undercooked and the bacon tough. The ‘toast’ was basically slightly warmed up piece of bread, it hadn’t been near the toaster. The staff were pleasant but their uniforms serving the evening meal had stains and were generally dirty. For serving people’s food hygiene is a must.

Location fantastic service excellent especially waiting staff. O shay Jenkins behind the bar was absolutely brilliant. He was efficient fun and a thoroughly pleasant young man.

Well the room was lovely but window would not stay open. Had to use deodorant can to keep it open. I did not like the fact that the bed was not made properly the next day in fact it was abysmal. No wardrobe merely a pipe sticking g out of the wall. Fireplace seemed an unnecessary feature

The location

Overpriced, food was average, took too long to arrive, we had to ask for the table to be cleaned. Breakfast was poor and cost £20 each !!
