We loved our stay!

This place is beautiful! Stayed here as 2 family combined as 4 adults and 6 kids and was still plenty of room! The house is huge and so is the garden so the kids have loads of room to play outside! There is a huge hot tub that fit all of us in with plenty of room although the bubbles didnt work this didnt bother us at it was still lovely to sit in! Gutted to had to leave and the kids also wished we could stay another night!

Id say the only things to be aware of is you dont get sent the key code before hand you have to ring once your there to get it but they answered straight away. Also theres plenty of plates and glasses etc but no cutlery so if planning to cook then bring your own cutlery :)

My experience

We loved the house .only inside though.The rooms were spacious and clean.Good linen supplied .Hot tub was clean and warm enough.

At the time of booking it was showing that it is a farm house and the entire property is for us,so I decided this one will be perfect place to enjoy with kids.however it is not a detached house ,it is a semidetached property and there are people live next door..so keep in mind about the noise what you make.The family stayed next door came to me and said we are too loud especially the kids.I know it's true but we are on a vacation and went there to enjoy with kids to have some laughter and good memories Secondly ,the outside facilities, means the gazebo and the garden chair & cushions were very untidy and dusty. Finally ,the outside gas grill unit was very dirty and left uncleaned from the previous use therefore we did not use it.

Not clean enough. They don’t answer the emails and not very helpful by phone. I ask for a late check out( didn’t even need at the end), no one answered back.

Exceptional place for breakfast with family

A Wonderful Stay in Aberystwyth – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the cottage in Aberystwyth. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mr. Davis ( Owner) and Rob ( Staff ) who were both incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our visit. The cottage itself was cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The setting was peaceful and picturesque—perfect for unwinding and enjoying the beauty of the Welsh countryside. Mr. Davis and Rob truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their hospitality made all the difference, and we felt right at home. I can’t recommend this place highly enough—whether you’re visiting for a quiet break or to explore the area, this cottage is a perfect choice. We’ll definitely be back!

Very pleasant stay for a large group of friends.

The property was large and tidy, with a few bedrooms. We had enough room to accommodate 12 people and large communal space. Bathrooms were also clean. The hot tub was ready for our arrival and water was hot. The property also had a gas BBQ.

We tried contacting the hosts weeks in advance to ensure that we would get the big farm house, they did not respond to written messages, however responded to a phone call and confirmed the reservation. The hosts contacted us last minute the night before the trip and said that the previous occupiers had decided to stay for longer, so we could not have the large farm house for 12 people we booked originally and our hosts could provide us with alternative accomodation of 2 smaller neighboring cottages in the same location. This made me feel very nervous as the group leader, but we agreed and went ahead with it. The two cottages were literally next door to each other fitted to the same standard and also the was a door connecting the gardens, therefore we did not feel disconnected as a group. Overall we have had a very pleasant experience, the accomodation did not let us down, we had a good time.

Lack of communication

There was a storm on the date of my stay, we weren't aware of it as we have been travelling from the midlands the host did not cancel or notify us about major floods, fallen trees and a power cut at the property. When we got there we found the property inaccessible due to a tree blocking the entrance and no power at the building. When we called the host they have told us we can reschedule the visit however they have not responded to my email. Very disappointed £500 out of pocket

Absolutely perfect find for a meet up with Uni friends from many years ago.

It was a home from home experience with a fantastic farm house and location to boot. We had not seen my Uni friends for a very long time and this was the perfect find. Hot tub was large enough for all ten of us (5 couples). Clean and comfortable. Owners made everything very easy and were very helpful. 12 minutes drive into Aberystwyth. Those of us with children would happily stay again with them. This time was adults only.

Nothing. Nice little extra would be to put some outside lights up by the hot tub and in the pergola but we would happily take our own next time.

Beautiful house!

Stunning property with beautiful surroundings. Lovely outdoor space with bonus large hot tub. Very comfy beds and generally very nice facilities. Large bedrooms and bathrooms, and a TV in each room for some extra comfort. Lovely spacious living room and separate dining room meant plenty of space to entertain.

Hard to find - the satnav takes you to the wrong place, and the instructions (take the 2nd left, not the first left) are great, but they did not specify on which road. Some of the facilities are a little small for the number of guests e.g. cooker/dishwasher. Clearly well used, so a couple of things missing/broken e.g. HDMI cable for DVD player, melted cutlery

Lovely location but house and garden needs some attention,

The space and the hot tub. Good selection of China and glasses.

Some areas needed cleaning, the fire place in particular and the hot tub. No firewood as promised, contacted the owners who sent someone around. But lacking in anything to light the fire, lacking of bits and pieces in the kitchen - tea towel for 11 people for the weekend! No table mats to put hot dishes on the table. No shower mats, especially the wet room downstairs, so everyone got wet feet when using the toilet. No tea/coffee etc would have been nice to have been made to feel welcome rather than it’s just a house.

nice quiet location. hot tub was great. really comfortable house with lots of character for a group/family break

just a couple of things we couldn’t find… a corkscrew, hand towels, dry logs & kindling for the log burner. A couple of board games etc would be nice but these are small details. we loved the property overall.

A huge let down after having booked a really decent 5 bed farm house with amazing views and space.

The surrounding area was very nice and parking onsite was very handy. The dwelling was well kitted out for a small group and good décor.

We booked a 5 bed house and when we got there found out we were in a 3 bed apartment on the same site. All the images and info on the booking related to the 5 bed house. We were a large group and the 3 bed apartment was drastically undersized for our needs. Not enough seats or a suitable sized table. Some of us had to sleep in the living room. It didn't have the fire place that was listed. The hot tube was so dirty you couldn't see your feet when the water was still due to cloudy water and sediment.

The main TV could have done with being a smart TV and let the property down. Shower pressure wasn't great and upstairs en suite shower was cold.

The lack of kitchen dinner plates, serving dishes , no salad bowl, not 1 dish washer tablet, no hair dryer., no wood for the wood burner etc , should be told in advice before travelling . All things easily rectified but make a difference .
