Air con was very poor. About 40c in the room.

Lovely property, ok rooms but disappoinying dining room, Different approach to dinner:, offering only a small number but high quaity dishes offered and wondeful wine list. Marvellous position in top vineyards of burgundy.

Dining room physically disppointing in such a lovely building

I am writing to formally review my stay on February 17th and to express my dissatisfaction with both the hotel's facilities and their subsequent handling of the complaint. During my stay, the room was without hot water for an extended period. This is a fundamental service, and its absence made basic hygiene difficult and significantly disrupted my travel plans. While the front desk staff (Ms. Cécile Boivert) attempted to resolve the issue by directing me to another hotel, this is not an acceptable solution for a guest paying full price. The inconvenience caused was considerable. I initially requested a partial refund for the night affected by this outage. However, the hotel management's response was unsatisfactory. Instead of addressing the financial impact of their service failure, they offered a "commercial gesture" on a future reservation—a solution I do not value as I have no intention of returning. The hotel acknowledges the technical malfunction but failed to take appropriate financial responsibility. Essential amenities failed, and their proposed resolution failed to compensate for the experience. I cannot recommend this property due to both the lack of maintenance and the lack of a reasonable remedy.
