Excellent stay

The hotel was clean . Excellent location Montparnasse is at 6 minutes walk and 1 minutes from Gaîté Metro station. Restaurant and shop around. Comfortable beds. I was worried about the noise as my room was on the road side but the soundproof is amazing. I also like the check out time as 12 pm.

The knock on the door before 10 am was a disgraced , especially for a 4 star hotels. Reception needs to work in collaboration with housekeeper. They need to inform them when customers have check out . Housekeepers should not be knocking door in any hotels.

Its a nice hotel near to the centre of the city for the price. Good for a short stay

A pretty decent hotel with good supportive staff and a great location. The cleanliness is excellent and also the overall comfort level is very good.

For a family room, it seemed little packed with not much room to move around. Also, the TV did not have Wifi connectivity, which is a bit inconvenient for the families travelling with Kids. For international visitors, most available channels were in French leqving very limited options, specially with kids.

Great hotel in a great location with lovely staff

Property is in a great location, lots to do around the hotel in a very lively area. Restaurant right next door was great too great atmosphere.

Only criticism is the bed was solid and after a long day walking and sight seeing you are tired want your bed which unfortunately wasn’t the greatest. However for a short stay it will be fine.

Great experience

Great staff, warm welcome, good vibes lobbies, great location. Room a little small for the price but well maintained, clean with free coffee and tea. No bottle of water though. Went down to lobby at 3am. Staff was available and helped. Will stay again

In the room, the space between the entrance door and the bed is quite small, but the room itself is nice and quiet. The toilet paper holder is too close to the toilet seat and we keep bumping into it

The location was excellent, only 2 miles from Notre Dame and it had a great car park.

The hotel is ok, but we are not satisfied with how we had to change rooms and the lack of interest.

the breakfast and the first room we had

We had to change rooms (no electricity in the room) and our only offer was that I had to stay in one room and my two daughters (young teens) had to stay in a room of their own. Not even next door. The staff said there was nothing they could do. No compensation was given or anything.

Good place with a pinch of salt!

Its a nice little hotel at a very good location. The staff were cooperative. Miguel, Aminata, Soniya all of them tried their bit to help and make things easy for us. Hotel is clean and well kept. It is close to a Metro stop and main train station as well. So connectivity isnt an issue if u r here. There's a wonderful little bakery next to the hotel and you can enjoy patisserie every now and then.

Its on the main street and if you happen to get a room on the front side, then you cant sleep. High speed traffic along with occasional sirens from police vehicles won't let you rest.

Well located with tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Very helpful and friendly staff. wouldn't hesitate to rebook this location in future visits.

Recommendable in every respect - room, beds, cleanliness, service, breakfast

For the price and the location, we felt it was very good value for money. We had booked a room with an extra large double bed, which made the stay so much more pleasant, as we don't like the tiny European "double beds", which are really singles, in my view. The hotel gave us a room on the top floor with a sofa bed for our child free of charge, which was very nice, as the hotel is designed for 2 people per room only (they don't have rooms or suites for 3 or 4 people). The room was clean and quiet, the beds very comfortable and not hard like in most other hotels, the towels were fluffy, and as an added bonus, there was even hair conditioner in the room, which one doesn't find anywhere else anymore. The room also had a little fridge for our water, a large safe, functioning air conditioning, and proper lighting, which is not a given. The staff also supplies free water every day. Breakfast was included and very good in terms of variety. The personnel at reception and the waiters were fantastic, always helpful and friendly, particularly given that we were in France. :-) At breakfast, my daughter had wrapped her retainers in a napkin, which was then thrown away with her leftovers, and the staff actually dug through the trash and retrieved her expensive retainers an hour later again! Amazing! There is a VERY nice and lively tex mex place right outside the hotel, as well as Rue de la Gaite and Rue d'Odessa, which are lined with dozens of restaurants on both sides, so food options are plenty (but not always good). Avoid the Korean place on Rue de la Gaite close to the hotel. We've never eaten so bad in our lives. The location is great in general, as Gare Montparnasse and 2 metro stations are close by. It's easy to get everywhere.

If I want to be knitpicky, the only thing I didn't like was that the scrambled eggs at breakfast were made of reconstituted egg and not real eggs, and that the boiled eggs were really like blue rocks. Inedible for me, but perhaps others won't mind. The rooms are very small, but it is really to be expected in a major capital at that price. I once stayed in West London at a hotel where we had to leave our luggage at the porters downstairs as the suitcases wouldn't fit into the room!

Great location and fine room but needs to improve on crucial areas

Good transport option as near mainline and selection of metro. Room well appointed (usual tight space) and comfortable bed.

Room temperature impossible to control. It was early 20s out but the cooling element didn’t appear to work. Just about bearable but would be nightmare in summer. Mentioned to front desk but no change. No fridge in room that would keep anything cold (there’s a cabinet but not useful) Bathroom needed work in places

Good location

Very good location with easy access to the metro, sights and restaurants. Good breakfast and most of the staff were friendly and helpful (except one). They let us store our luggage for about 48 hours while we did a side trip out of town.

We requested an early check-in which they couldn't provide when we arrived at 12 noon. This is understandable and was not an issue. However even at 5pm our rooms were not ready and the receptionist was unapologetic and dismissive of our protest which was very unprofessional and gave us only 1 of the 2 rooms we had booked for our 3 night stay. Later the manager intervened and upgraded one of the rooms to compensate us and we appreciated that gesture. Also the rooms are quite small and a bit cramped and the air-conditioning is not great.

Unexpected gem in Montparnasse right by the metro

The rooms were quite spacious by Parisian standards. Very excited to see two elevator banks! The hotel is large but furnishings and stylings make it seem very boutique. Has the most beautiful outdoor garden space.

The rooms can get a bit warm so the AC needs to be sorted. Toilets had low pressure on some days but our housekeeper did some magic and turned it into airplane strength. The tv would occasionally refuse to turn on so we had to get the reception to sort it out.

Nice hotel in a nice area of Paris

This is a nice comfortable hotel, next to the metro and close to the tour de Montparnasse. The staff at reception was very welcoming. Our room was bright and had a large window and it even had a large window in the bathroom.

Good value for money near Montparnasse

Good value for money, decent price point and comfort level for a Parisian 4*. One of these more recent hotels which look better on pictures than in reality. Finishings are approximative, which translates throughout the room, and especially in the bathroom

small things like paint stains on floors and walls, the shampoo dispenser was locked at my sink while I had two hand & body soap locked in the tub. The maids yell to each other in the corridors during the day, which is really not ideal but common in Paris unfortunately

Extremely comfy room and great location - walkable to just about anything you'd wish to see, and also close to Metro, buses, trains, etc. Convenient, comfortable, and cozy.

I do not have anything that stands out as worthy of improvement. It was a great place to stay.

Great value for money - very modern and clean, ideal location!

The room was modern and had all the facilities I needed - bed very comfortable, nice window view and bathroom clean. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location was close to the metro and not too far from the main attractions.

Only fault would be that the shower glass doesn't block off the water much - the water tends to go all over the bathroom floor.

Worst front desk staff.

Excellent location for tourist location. Excellent food outlets nearby area . Easy to move. Good rooms .

One front desk staff was very indifferent, even when the rooms were ready and we were waiting for rooms, intentionally she kept us waiting till 3.10 pm just to prove check in is at 3 pm. When another colleague came , he immediately gave us rooms on the same floor. She intentionally deducted city taxes 4 times without informing us . When asked why it was deducted 4 times , she said it was hotel policy . It is the worst staff ever seen in hotels industry. Such people give bad names to Voco and IHG group . Will never visit such a hotel again because of poor front desk staff.
