upgraded room has opaque glass between bathroom and bedroom - I am not a fan of this feature - turning bathroom light on at night floods bedroom with light waking me or my partner - had I realised this was part of the paid upgrade I would not have bothered with it - the standard rooms with proper bathroom walls would have been fine

Stylish hotel, helpful staff

Stylish and unique historical hotel in the very centre of Kortrijk. Everything was super clean and staff was very helpful. I got a bit sick during my stay and craved a soup, which was promptly prepared for me in the hotel restaurant, even though it was not part of the menu. It was also very tasteful. I very much appreciate the helpfulness of the staff and wish I could have stayed in this hotel longer to explore the charming Kortrijk.

It's a small thing but I had a room in the historical wing of the hotel - it was charming and pretty but there was a certain smell, maybe typical for older buildings.

A lovely hotel in the very centre of the city with easy paid for parking.

The hotel is right next to the main square and within easy walking distance of everything plus less than a five minute stroll from the station. Rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was good.

They had a slight problem with heating while we were there, so the corridors could have been warmer.

In the heart of Kortrijk

Central location in Grote Markt, opposite the belfry, with most sights and restaurants within easy walking distance. An historic building with impressive common areas and rooms sympathetically modernised. Very stylish bathroom. Good breakfast included with eggs cooked to order. Restaurant was a bonus too.

Bit complicated checking in on a Sunday, when reception and main access closed in afternoon. Executive room wasn’t that impressive, overlooking car park and not much space for clothes storage. Excessively soft pillows and mattress which deteriorated sleep quality.

Great staff, excellent location, and a lovely breakfast.

I stayed in a comfort single room, but unfortunately, the bed was quite uncomfortable, which affected my rest. As I was travelling for business, I also found the room unsuitable for working, and had to seek alternative workspace elsewhere. Overall, I believe that with a better room choice, my experience could have been significantly improved.

Expected a more comfortable stay for the price

Location, beautiful historic building, good breakfast.

Room is old and needs refreshing (does not look as well kept like in the pictures). The queen bed has single matresses, poorly arranged (we kept slidding to the middle of the bed the whole night). Cleaning could be improved.

Lovely stay in elegant, historic hotel, with the best location!

This is the loveliest hotel! We realized after we booked that it's the oldest hotel in Belgium. It is elegant and furnished so well. The room was large and comfortable with a large bathtub and shower. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, delicious bread, and eggs cooked to your liking. This was old-style elegance while also being friendly and ensuring that you have everything you needed. Finally, it's in the best location! The square is in the center of town, and it was a delightful stay.

We didn't need it, but the room did not appear to have air conditioning. The large window open at night (with the curtains closed) created a nice breeze and we were very comfortable.

Lovely hotel in a great location.

Despite being in the literal centre of Kortrijk, the hotel and its car park (which I think costs EUR15-a-day to use) were pretty easy to find. The car park was quite spacious, although there were no marked parking bays so people tended to park a little unnecessarily far apart meaning that the car park’s capacity was reduced by maybe 4 or 5 cars. Check-in was friendly and efficient and in no time at all we were in our beautifully presented Executive room. The hotel has a very pleasant bar, with seating indoors and out in the Grote Markt (the square in the middle of Kortrijk). We didn’t eat in the hotel, but they do have a restaurant. Breakfast was primarily a simple continental style, but cooked eggs were available on request. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Daimer and will definitely endeavour to stay there again.

It was a very warm day when we stayed and our Executive room was supposed to be air conditioned, but whatever we did with the air conditioning controls the room temperature sat around 27C, which made for a slightly more uncomfortable night’s sleep than we were expecting.

great location directly at grand market square… nicely and classic design of the hotel, however some rooms are also very modern design… good breakfast… safe private parking in the back yard of the hotel… the only thing to raise is that wifi is not the best around the hotel, in my room was unreliable at times

Nice spot

A small. comfortable. warm hotel in the heart of the city. It is possible to reach almost everywhere on foot. We stayed in the new section. Our room was good.

A touch up on the breakfast buffet would be nice. Also. 1-2 more extra directional signs for the access to the parking lot would be great,

The design in this hotel is amazing and it has a great atmosphere. rooms are comfortable and spacious and the hotel's restaurant is great as well! the location is just perfect near the center with many restaurants and also within walking distance to the train station I definitely recommend it and will come back again

Excellent hotel in the middle of Kortrijk

I had a great stay at Hotel Damier in Kortrijk. The location is excellent, the atmosphere is very warm and inviting, and the breakfast buffet had a great selection. Above all, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Hotel Damier is an excellent choice for anyone visiting Kortrijk!

Overall a good hotel and A very nice traditional style room. A good breakfast as able to order more than the limited buffet. The location in the square surrounded by restaurants and only a short walk to such as other restaurants.

The room 'desk' was very narrow and basically a top with metal supports and not really enough room to work on. No kettle in the room but staff kindly supplied me with a hot water flask so it was satisfactory.

Great stay

My room was clean and beautiful. As I arrived way early than checking in time, I wanted to leave my suitcase at reception, but instead the reception let me check in and have the beautiful room from early morning. Really appreciated the hotel’s flexibility.
