President Hotel, Valamar Collection

The property sits in a beautiful spot overlooking the water and the sunsets, and although it’s a bit farther from the city and attractions in the center (Old Town), it can be to reached by walking along the promenade or using options like Uber, taxi, bus, or a rented car. The peaceful setting and views make the location feel very special.

The spa area felt quite small and limited, and the room’s cleanliness didn’t fully match a 5‑star expectation. The meals offered at the hotel restaurants also weren’t quite to my taste, though this may vary for others.

Breakfast was excellent, evening meal perhaps lacked a bit of choice for the Brits ! Plenty to go at though !

Nothing really

We loved the location on the beach. We had a V level room and is worth the extra cost for the airport pick up, separate dinning area and service. Reserved loungers n the beach and by pool were part of V level but it was too cold and rainy to use. Would be fantastic with warmer weather.

The food at the beach level restaurant was not very good but the staff was nice. And some of the food in the lounge area was kind of bad as well. The amazing breakfasts in the V level area was one of the best in our one month travel and made up for the other bad food.

- I would not call this a 5-star hotel. It is shabby, and in need of an a update. For example, the leather on the headboard was peeling off, the beach deck chairs were falling apart with the foam exposed along with stains on, hallway walls crumbling etc. - The breakfast was okay. The food itself tasted like it was sat out for too long. It seems there was a lack of staff to help turn around tables, which made guests walk around searching for one that was set.
