We were moved to a better room when we complained but it was awful having to pack everything up and

Breakfast beach good room was noisy and small had an interconnecting door we could hear EVERYTHING from next door!! We put up with it for a couple of nights then we think different people moved in and the noise was horrendous.

Lovely stay in a busy hotel - easy access to everting.

Lovely hotel. There is a newer part with much nicer rooms, the standard side are comfortable though. Most Staff very friendly- housekeeping very courteous and helpful. Two pools and easy access to a fabulous beach. Kids club for over 4’s (can go under 4 but you must stay with them) main outdoor restaurant (Mammas) was lovely. Lots of free sun-beds and no ‘towel reservers’ when we went in October. Lovely Elemis toiletries which were appreciated.

The walls of the hotel room are PAPER think. You can hear everything’s next door and all conversations - even if they are talking quietly. This drove me mad!! Any drawer or cupboard - bang! The sunbeds are on grass and it was quite long which I find unpleasant to walk on. Lots of brown patches where the sunbeds aren’t rotated. Not all staff are as polite as each other. I would rate 4* not 5* due to room quality. Needs updating to be 5*

Great location and staff, but overpriced for what it offers

The location is excellent – right on the best beach in Cyprus and in the center of Protaras, close to all shops, restaurants, and services. The staff were very polite and helpful throughout our stay.

On the downside, compared to last year, the price for bed and breakfast has increased by about 20%. Unfortunately, there have been no visible improvements in facilities, service, or food to justify this rise. At the current price, it does not feel like good value for money anymore. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, would also benefit from some renovation.

Wonderful holiday in the Fig Tree bay

Beautiful location, hotel and grounds. Closeby lots of restaurants/pubs, beach walks. We stayed in May and there were plenty of sun lounges for everyone. Very close to the beach, we stayed in the grassy adult area most times and swam in the sea and pool. Amazing staff 10/10. Reception staff were always polite and helpful, special thank you for extending chekout so we could enjoy the hotel until it was time to leave. We loved the complimentary cocktail evening with canapes which was a special welcome in the beginning of the season, also the super friendly omelette chef and the experience of making cypriot coffee at breakfast which was also amazing. Would love to stay here again.

Very disappointed with the room allocated on ground floor. The room was very tired and shabby, in need of maintenance. The wardrobe door was broken, the shower was old and was over bath. One of the walls needed cleaning. We stayed in 2023 and had an amazing room, overlooking the sea. Large glass balcony on Level 5. We therefore expected a better standard of room (price in excess of £200 per night.)I requested a room upgrade, was happy to pay, and was told the hotel was full, was later offered a room on level 2, it was slightly better but also tired , very small balcony, and no sockets near to mirror so was given an extension lead to use own hairdryer. However the room was clean. We were so tired after journey we accepted the room.

The room wasn't clean with the wooden wall full of dirt,felt so disgusted... Also there was only hot water and we didn't manage to make a bath neither of us or our baby...the cot that they provide for our 6 months baby wasn't clean and propably they haven't buy new from the opening of the hotel...we ask for another room and we had to carry all the luggage and i had to sterile another room because of the baby...The next morning after all the trouble, the staff ask us to change another room because that room was for a family of four....We didn't accept to change a room for 3rd time and we ask for our money back...they return only the 4 nights although the fussiness and their fault and we paid 405 euros for cleaning 2 of their room and move from one room to another. In general the rooms need renovation and the furniture, the bath the decoration are old...The rooms are overpriced for what they provide...very very disappointed... Unfortunately because of ur stress and because we are very tired we didnt remember to take photos..

Capo Bay Hotel is located in Fig Tree Bay, the most central point in Protaras, a small and luxurious town about 15 minutes’ drive from Ayia Napa. The hotel is elegant and peaceful, with exceptional staff who are entirely focused on the guest experience. They are friendly, available, and attentive to every question. The rooms are wonderful, with very well-maintained facilities. There are countless sun loungers positioned spaciously without feeling crowded. Service comes directly to your sun lounger with food and snacks throughout the day. The beach, located just a few steps away, does not belong to the hotel - meaning you should arrive early, before 9 AM, if you want to secure a sun lounger. There you can enjoy various water sports. On a half-board basis, you can enjoy a perfect breakfast and choose for dinner (or lunch) from one of the hotel’s restaurants - featuring local, Asian, Italian cuisine, plus two buffet evenings throughout the week. Within a short walking distance, everything is available - beaches, shops, entertainment, and restaurants. It’s a very safe area to walk around at any hour; even my teenage daughters felt comfortable walking around alone. An excellent choice for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

Absolutely incredible - all smiles at Capo Bay!

Capo Bay was absolutely incredible - the staff, the location, the food all lived up to high expectations. Starting with the staff, they were so hospitable, kind and friendly - from the reception desk, to the breakfast crew, to the pool team, everybody was so helpful and with a smile on their face. The location is second to none, being a stone throw / on Fig Tree Beach was surreal and a treat. The food was what surprised us the most, Hotel food can be quite same-same / boring, but Capo Bay was up there with the best we've had. The catering team clearly take pride in sourcing quality ingredients and its cooking. Thanks a lot

The room was the only real surprise in terms of falling a little bit short. It was small and the bathroom door was floor length glass with no lock, which wasn't ideal for privacy + having a toddler disturbing at every opportunity! Nice big balcony though and wouldn't mind that room again. View was nice and was always kept clean.

We visited in May, it is not quite the season for Cyprus, so water in the sea was cold, we would rather swim in the swimming pool but the onliest pool that was heated was for adults only. I did not quite understand that, pool that was allowed for children remained very cold, as well as we were with our daughter we never used pools…

I was told I need to order from the bar or go to the supermarket (we stayed 5 days) - the beach is public and the staff do not inform you that you need to head down very early to grab a spot

When you advertise as five star but you aren’t really one you are letting people down. This is not a five star hotel by any means. The service is ok, but not that friendly or welcoming. Although some staff were . It’s the little touches that just aren’t there at all having stayed in five stars all over the world . The decor is 4 star. 5 star represents luxury . This place is comfortable nice but nothing more and to charge for the big 4 poster subbed is a bit cheeky.

The beds are not comfortable - our bed had a slope from the center to the edges, it constantly felt like you were going to roll off it. The room is not a 5 star hotel room - looks outdated and worn. Bathroom is small and has a useless bathtub. Micro-balcony. Very noisy neighborhood restaurants (we had island side windows). Breakfast is ok but not great. All together - it's like 3+* hotel. Not even looks and feels like 4*, and definitely not like 5*.

The towels were white and clean. The breakfast was OK. Nothing special for a 5star hotel, but OK. The hotel is on the beach

1. The hotel positions itself as 5star and prices the services accordingly. We stayed at a Family Suite for 400eur per night. Unfortunately the hotel doesn't reach even a 4 star rating. Absolute insult for the guests. The management are thiefs. If they told from the begging that their hotel of old, poorly maintained with the 3 star rating, but they want to charge 400eur per room, it would be fair. So every traveller would decide on its own if he is ready to pay this money. But when you position yourself as 5star and your services are at the 3star rating you are a thief. 2. Everything started from the underground parking. 2 floors down, NO elevator. The underground parking lot is a dirty catacomb with graffiti and a dump of old furniture. The starecase has never been cleaned. 3. The room has no sound insulation. We did not sleep at all from 2 - 4 am. Because the child in the next room was crying. We had a feeling that it was happening in our room. 4. The hotel is old, but NOT well maintained. The walls are cracked, disgustingly painted. it feels like the walls weren't painted, but smeared with paint. 5. The ceiling of the bathrooms is made of some crooked, poorly painted sheet of iron. 6. The sockets are full of dirty stains. No sockets near the beds. 7. The doors of the rooms and bathrooms are poorly painted with the brush. Not just low quality, but NO quality. 8. The carpets in the corridors of the public areas are filthy with dirty stains. 9. The elevator floor is dirty. The panel with buttons in the elevator was dirty, did not even want to touch it. 10. The a/C I the rooms very old and noisy. 11. The furniture in the rooms has to be replaced long time ago.
