Boutique Hotel Regina

We enjoyed our room, the pool, the roof top bar / restaurant and the morning breakfast. Importantly, the service was outstanding! We will recommend and return for sure.

Only one thing: Move the shampoo and soap dispensers from the side of the shower to the back - the side of shower location makes the narrow shower even more narrow.

If I could score the visit to Boutique Hotel Regina higher then I would! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty - welcome drinks and made to just relax whilst our cases were taken to the room. Our car was safely parked in their garage (yes we drove from the UK to Sorrento) and there it stayed whilst we immersed ourselves in everything the area had to explore. The team at the hotel helped to book tours for us to Capri and the Amalfi coast. Both were great value and really allowed us to enjoy our visit. The staff were without a doubt exceptional. Always friendly, rooms turned down at night (with a sweet on the pillow)… the little extras that just made this hotel one of the best we’ve ever stayed at. If you are going to stay in Sorrento then this is the the hotel to stay at - well situated close to the town and beaches.

Nothing - it was amazing!

The hotel was really clean, and the staff were extremely friendly, professional and helpful, we couldn’t fault them. The restaurant for breakfast has the most beautiful setting, and the roof terrace in the evening was really lovely. Our room had a balcony overlooking the bay, which was so lovely. A fabulous way to wake up and have such a beautiful view. The room was spotlessly clean, and plenty of space. The pool area is really lovely, with lots of loungers, chairs and seating areas. They provide beach towels, which is great.

The breakfast was the same every day, and the only fruit was watermelon. There was a large selection of cakes every day, which looked lovely, but not something I would eat for breakfast. We knew the cost of the garage for the car was €25 a day, but I think it’s a lot of money to charge, we knew we had no choice, and they did too

Good location. Near the centre, port etc.

We specifically asked for a quiet room. Our room was not quiet. The double glazing was inadequate sadly, and there is no sound proofing. You could hear conversations in both rooms on either side of us. Not helped by the fact I stayed there with my young son, and some people were coming back to the hotel after midnight, slamming doors etc. We didn't sleep very well, and was woken every morning at 6.30am by people staying next to us. Breakfast offering was OK, but apart from a few apples on the side, there was no fresh fruit which I would have expected in a hotel in Italy.
