The hotel has a quaint, old-school charm, and the front desk offers loaner plug adapters and charging devices. The two meals weren't kaiseki cuisine (I guess I was expecting too much)—the restaurant buffet didn't have a huge variety, but the food tasted decent and the ingredients were fresh. The room isn't large, but it was wonderful to open the window and see Mount Fuji right there—such a great view! The only drawback is that the soundproofing is very poor, so light sleepers should take note. The public bath was incredibly helpful for relieving the fatigue of a long day! One more thing: the hotel is still a bit far from Kawaguchiko Station on foot, and the roads are very narrow, so I wouldn't recommend walking with luggage. The hotel does offer a shuttle bus to Kawaguchiko Station, but the last morning departure is at 10:00 AM, so if you need it, be sure to plan your schedule accordingly.

Chosen this property bcos of the overlooking Mt Fuji with the room. Room is very spacious and bathtub also facing Mt Fuji, the only negative part is the dinner and bfast is not nice. Compared to all the half board hotel we stay in Japan.

Overall, the stays of the hotel were good especially the breakfast. But just that the front office staff gave us wrong information about the check-out time. End up we was chased out last minutes.
