Appartement Sully

This was our third trip to Ile de Re but the first time we had not stayed on a campsite. We chose an apartment in St Martin de Re and were not disappointed. It's great being right in the thick of things, able to walk out in the morning to get a coffee or of an evening to go for dinner. The apartment was really well ventilated despite the hot weather, there were fans in the rooms in the air flowed nicely through the house. The kitchen and the rest of the house are very well appointed. We didn't get any problems with street noise or anything else. It was a great place to stay. We were a family of four, two adults two kids. We hired bikes from Beach Bikes, they were great bikes and they treated us really well. It was easy to park the bikes with the locks provided in a church courtyard near the flat.

It was a bit of a nuisance having to walk 10 minutes each way to take rubbish and recycling to the nearest recycling and rubbish point. Ideally, I would want to use bins that were stored in the space under the stairs. But this was a small niggle that wouldn't put me off staying at this place again.

10/10 Location, Cleanliness, Value for Money, Kitchen facilities.

One (1) bathtowel per person for 7 days in hot weather. Both stairs need a railing for safety purposes. Having to strip 4 beds at 6am & leave sheets etc in a certain area of apartment especially after paying over €200 for cleaning.

Cozinha bem equipada. Localização central.

Lençóis e toalhas pagas extra. Deixar as camas sem lençóis. Ter de levar o lixo a Km de distância.

Location fabulous

You have to pay for bed linens 28 euros per person. You need to leave your own rubbish to live cal dump 10 mins walk away. You need to strip your own beds on departure. The bathroom soaps left are minimal not enough
