Long walk from car to the property over challenging terrain found it a challenge with walking stick and bags

Great location. 5 minute walk to centre of Whitby. Amazing views over the harbour/marina and town from kitchen and lounge windows. Private enclosed and keypad operated patio/decking area overlooking the river/town. Exclusive use for house guests. Located right next to house. Comfortable chairs/dining table and bbq. Truly fantastic. The house was clean and very well equipped. It was warm. Very comfortable reclining sofa. (A recliner at each end). Great to return to after a walk up the cliffs. And a nice big telly! Total privacy. Owners do not live nearby. Keypad entry. We did meet the owners who are a lovely couple who were in Whitby to meet someone about the house. Car parking was easy. Use of a private drive on the road above the property. Owner of drive was very pleasant.

There is nothing we didn’t like. We loved it. The only warning I would give is that it is on 4 floors so quite a lot of stair climbing. But worth it for the view from the top 2 floors. Steep steps up from river. Again worth it for elevated position and views.
