Walker's Retreat

Great apartment and a convenient location, very easy to get into Ambleside town centre. Comfortable beds and lovely views from the terrace. Kitchen was well stocked, however didn't eat in as too many nice places in ambleside to eat out. Particularly grateful for the extension cable in the 2nd bedroom, as it enabled me to dry my hair in front of a mirror (only a small thing, but I have stayed in so many places where the plug sockets are miles away from the mirror!!). Clear instructions for use of appliances. Would definitely book again.

The singles bed mattresses need replacing.

The property is well equipped and in an excellent location. We loved the view from the apartment and the light afforded by the patio doors into the lounge. It was a warm welcoming space.

We were given an eleven o clock checking out time on booking.com but the cleaning staff turned up at ten as they thought we were meant to be leaving at ten so a miscommunication somewhere.

The location and views. The property has everything you need for a really comfortable stay. It is clean and very well looked after and is really welcoming after a day in the fells.
