Cute place, strange and unfortunate owner interaction s

Clean and great shower. Air conditioning was a treat!

This was the strangest and worst organized of hosts we’ve had despite it being one of the cutest and most well organized. They sent many, many messages starting a week prior to arrival, needing to know exactly when we were arriving and departing, which was a problem as we were on a road trip with appts running long. But the reason they needed to know when we were leaving was to do a walk through. Which we completed, and were told nothing about anything being out of place, and then two hours later got a text demanding 40 additional euro because it wasn’t clean enough. Very strange, given that we tend to go over the top in keeping a place near, and stranger still given there were no instructions on how to leave the place. Even so, we did all dishes and put them away, removed garbage from the house, stripped the beds and gathered all our laundry. And, did I mention, the woman walked through without saying anything about it not being clean enough prior to us leaving? Then, she sends a picture of a pillow case that had bleach stains as part of the reasoning… Since we didn’t do any laundry, your guess as good as mine when / how / what but I was done at that point responding to her litany of messages. Buyer beware, which is a shame, as it really is a charming and well-set up little gite.

Belle semaine avec visites châteaux (Chenonceau, Azay-le-Rideau et Villandry), zoo et sorties vélos.

1 - La situation de la location : parfaite pour visiter le château de Chenoncau ou le zoo de Beauval. 2 - Les pistes cyclables proches: sur le parcours du circuit 18 (plages, écluses et pressoirs en vallée du cher), à moins de 7 km de la partie sud du circuit 47 (La voie royale). 3 - La location plein de charme avec la climatisation de toutes les pièces.
