Clean room but didn’t meet the minimum comfort

The hotel is very close to the bus and train stations. There are several restaurants in the same area.

There was no hot water available for the bathroom sink and the shower water was barely warm enough to use—with the handle completely turned to hot. Only one small towel the size of a bath mat) was provided. The bed consisted of a bottom sheet and a duvet with no cover. It was all clean however.

Good location, VERY good staff, terrible room...

Staff - all of them was really friendly and helpful. Thank for them! Even donated a bottle of cold water at midnight!

The room was in terrible condition: the sockets didn’t work, wires were sticking out of the wall, and the plaster was falling off.

The hotel is in the centre of the city, in the main shopping street I think. The staff is good.

I liked always hot water when you need and smiling staff.

The blanket was without a cover. And not very new. It should have been with more beddings. It was simply the blanket that was without any fabrics covering it. And that was not very hygienic.

A suffocating bleach-scented nightmare with bedbugs, no elevator, and a stairway to hell.

Location was good and the cheapest price in all of Avignon.

If you love the smell of industrial-strength bleach burning your lungs, congratulations—you’ve found heaven! This place doesn’t just smell like bleach, it REEKS of it. No elevator? Of course not! So if you’re on the third floor, enjoy your cardio session on the world’s narrowest spiral staircase with your 40 pound luggage in your hands. Oh, and did I mention bedbugs? Because yes, they’re part of the experience. This hotel isn’t just bad—it’s a survival challenge. Don’t just walk away from it, RUN. Whatever money you think you’re saving, your sanity (and lungs) will pay the price.

It was a nice basic and clean room with friendly and helpful staff.

The location was great! The room was nice and clean. The room had enough space, was clean, and had a great window with a nice view. It had space to hang clothes up and a nice shower.

The common areas (hallways, etc) were a bit dingy and the elevator seemed a bit clunky so I wasn't sure about it when I arrived but the rest of the place was nice. The shower did not drain well for one of the days. Due to the weather being hot and wanting to have the window open it was a bit noisy as my window overlooked a bustling street, however, it did quiet fairly early (maybe around 23:00) so was not too bad.

no spare keys to the rooms. the cleaner went home with our room key in her pocket and we had to wait 50 minutes until she returned for us to get into our room

The location was great! The staff very nice. We had a lizard in our room and she was super cute, but shy. The bathroom was nice. Beds comfortable.

The pillows were quite hard and we couldn’t close the bathroom door.

Disappointing

Not much apart from the location.

The location was excellent and the bed was comfortable. However, the room was shabby, with plaster falling off the wall and a missing skirting board. I had to buy my own hand soap. The air conditioning leaked and dripped all night and the shower broke. One member of staff was helpful and sympathetic, but the other was not. I moved out and went elsewhere.
