Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Hamburg Hauptbahnhof

The location and facilities were amazing. Very nice and spacious room. Bathroom was very clean. Bed was comfortable.

This is a good hotel located 5 minutes walk from Hamburg Hauptbahnhof and hence perfectly located for both exploring Hamburg and the surrounding areas by public transport. My room, a single room, was a decent size and the bathroom was large. I was very happy with my room. The breakfast buffet was varied with both hot and cold items but the layout meant the buffet area tended to get crowded quickly. If you want a centrally located hotel in Hamburg, this hotel is a good option.

Awful neighborhood. Probably not dangerous but aesthetically not pleasant. Staff was not very efficient

The room was small but stylish and super clean. The bed was also SUPER comfortable - it felt like sleeping on a cloud! Also, the breakfast was very yummy.

The location was quite dodgy and I didn’t feel safe going out on the hotel’s street after dark. Convenient to be close to the main central station yes, but I’d definitely recommend female solo travellers to find another hotel that’s slightly further away from the central station area (I’ve previously stayed at the Ibis nearby and that felt like a much safer street!). The rooms were not at all soundproof. Any time somebody was in the hallway, you could hear absolutely everything, so it’ll wake you up if you aren’t wearing ear plugs.
