Disappointing

A spacious room with an eclectic range of furniture. Located on the right bank of the Seine and on the Seine a Velo cycle route. Our bicycles were safely stored overnight in an outbuilding.

On arrival, we had to phone a number posted on the entrance door. The restaurant was closed due to illness and it would have been helpful if we had received a message about this beforehand. There was no hot water available for showers which was not ideal after a long cycle ride.

Delightful, traditionally French Hotel, overlooking the Seine River and located in a very quiet area

We were warmly greeted by the delightful hotelier and immediately made to feel very welcome. We were able to get much needed drinks from the Bar, served on a large shady verandah overlooking the Seine River before our dinner. This was offered at the Hotel, in a large and traditionally decorated dining room. The meal exceeded our expectations, with some delicious courses served, at a very reasonable price. The room was very comfortable and more than adequate for an overnight stay. Breakfast was excellent and our hostess was very apologetic about the lack of croissants - it was a public holiday and no fresh ones were available!! Such a lovely lady and a gorgeous, authentically French place to stay ...

The stairs are very steep to the upstairs bedrooms - while not impossible for older people, we had to be very careful, going up and down, especially carrying luggage. We would not have expected a lift in such an old building and this was certainly was not a deal breaker for us.

Good for a short stay

Location, Proprietor, breakfast, food all good. Cleanliness also good. Period furniture is a matter of taste. Nice view of the river.

Mattress needs to be firmer. Steep stairs up to rooms. Bathroom too small so WC use required knees against the wall.

Excellent stay from quite a modest establishment

The hotel was unpretentious and we weren't sure what it was going to be like - but the evening meal was really excellent and we felt that any reservations we might have had were unimportant. The meal irself was quite delicious and the waiting staff were also wonderful. This was a great find and the position just be the River was also a delight.

poor WiFi hot water took ages to come through tea making area not fully stocked the looked amazing (out of the 20s 30s) but to soft and very noisy

Air conditioning was 'not working' in any of the rooms. Had to make do with a small fan during a heatwave. For 10 euros, the breakfast was a bit small.
