Apartment on the hill above the coast, in the residential area - but missing the hospitality

Location of the apartment was very suitable for us, You are up the hill from the Portoroz/Slovenia Bay, with a lovely view on the Croatian Istria and fish ponds (they breed several species in the Bay). Apartment has a table with chairs where You can sit outside and have breakfast still before the strong sun goes out. The supermarket is placed in the nearest closure, You can also cycle to Piran to purchase the fresh fish from the market - apartment has an oven. Living room is spacious, windows in the sleeping secion can be covered so You have proper darkness for a sleep. We travelled with 2 small children which we found especially supportive for them. Dishes and cutlery are sufficient, You will also find an electric grill - is strength is questionable though.

Couple of strange impressions: the house is located in the residential area of Portoroz, the rented apartment is on the ground floor, upstairs lives the owner. We booked the accomodation in advance, stating that will be travelling with our small children. Nevertheless fairly every evening there were guests visiting the owner, staying late. It left very bad impact on the perception of hospitality and even made us have an impression that we were there just to sponsor the upstairs events. Not really how we were used to travel around the Adriatic coast (and not even through Slovenia - we visited Portoroz couple of weeks earlier and intentionally stayed in the hotel in the busy area). You could access the garden from the apartment but the grass was not mowed, there was litter left on the ground. We enjoyed the fact that there was a hammock between the trees - but there were ants covering it everywhere so You could not use it. It required just little time to manage - but seems it was to much...

Nice terrace with a view to chill

Very kind and accomodating host. House is big and has a nice terrace and a parking place. You can sit outside and watch the sea. Supermarket nearby.

We had great time with my friends and would recommend this place. Small things can be easily fixed.

Location was a little bit far from the sea, however, it was a very quiet and nice place. The apartment was clean and fully prepared for visitors. View from the terrasse was spectacular.

It would be great to have a window grid to keep all insect outside. We couldn't leave any food in the kitchen because there were many ants - this should be fixed.

Pěkný apartmán s terasou na skvělém místě s úžasným výhledem na moře!

Apartmán je na klidném a krásném místě s pěkným výhledem. Postele i gauč byly pohodlné. K apartmánu náleží pěkná terasa, ze které je krásný výhled na moře a do okolí. Majitel byl super, moc nám pomohl a za to mu velmi děkujeme. Byly jsme tu moc spokojení a rádi se sem vrátíme 🙂👍

Trevlig värd, men standarden motsvarar inte förväntningarna och prisläget.

Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam värd.

Standarden var extremt låg och med tanke på priset känner man sig lurad. Skulle ranka det som 2-stjärnigt och inte 4-stjärnigt som det är på bookings hemsida. Dåligt utrustat kök, lakan var söndriga mm.
