Great experience overall.

Great location, beautiful garden, friendly staff, checked us in earlier when possible. I found it really great that you can wash your feet after the beach before entering the house. Also great impression that sheets and towels have been changed every day.

I have few minor remarks: 1. The washing machine has been also used by the cleaning lady which makes it difficult having privacy regarding your own laundry. It might not be an issue at all for visitors without kids. 2. There was no shower stand which was inconvenient for bathing. 3. The garden is used by two Appartments. We had great neighbours from Poland which made that fact irrelevant, even pleasant. But the last night the second apartment had been occupied by bunch of noisy people, which is of no fault of the hosts and may not be a problem for everybody.

Decent apartment for a short stay.

The apartment was spacious, very close to the beach.

The apartment is worn out, a lot of things need replacing, the stove is used by plugging it into the electricity (it cannot be turned off with a switch), after showering the water probably runs under the bathtub and leaks for hours after the shower so the bathroom is constantly wet, there are no awnings or parasols on the terrace so it is almost impossible to use during the day.

All in all a very good Location! However there is place for improvement with the facilities.

Perfect Location, very near to both the beach and the village. Owners are in general nice. Hause is pretty and yard is spacious. The bigger apartments seem to be very nice.

Our shower broke and the owners didn't repair it even though we asked multiple times. At first they said they will repair ir on the following they, on the next day we asked again around 19h but no answer came. A day later around 20:00h they wrote to us they are sorry for the delay and they will repair it on the following day. However, the following day was our departure day so we spent 3 days without being able to shower. In general pets are allowed, but the cleaning personal came only once in 10 days to change the bedsheets ( on the third day). We recieved clean sheets on the table in front if the room( which is in general ok) on the evening before our departure.

Superb

We liked that it was close to the beach.

We didn't like that one room did NOT have an air conditioner. This was a problem for our friends who could not sleep at night and also the doors are making a lot of noise.

Passable

- the location is close to the sea, and after a short climb of some stairs, one can easily reach the city centre - there is a public parking place next to the beach so it can be used adequately (as the streets are narrow, it's unwise to park in front of the property) - the apartment was cleaned during our stay and the place is generally clean

- the place is overflowing with mosquitoes, small flies, and ants: there is no mosquito net on the small terrace of the bedroom, so every insect gets a free pass into the house. There was a plug-in repellent provided, yet it had no repellent discs (had to be bought by us separately) and wasn't plugged in when we arrived. The walls are covered with mosquito remains (and of course live ones) - there is little to none hot water and water pressure is terrible. It takes ages to take a shower and it's a cold one because the water is lukewarm at best. - the telephone number in booking and in Google maps is unreachable. The actual phone is written on a sign on the property, the host doesn't speak English very well - check out time was 8:30 AM and we had to wait personally for someone to pick the keys. We explicitly checked with the number provided for contact that we have to wait in person for someone to come and yet after a 40-minute wait, no one came

It's a Beach!

The location was excellent. There was an outside patio with a big table which meant we could eat outside.

The pictures bore no relevance to the actual place - noting had be spent on the flat for years, I asked if the owner would be happy staying there?

Glad I found the place, will be back again, we had a great holiday and time.

Everything was great, we went back for a second time to this place and will be back again. Great room and the area around the house. Great place for barbecue and lots of garden furniture. Lots of cetas and greenery in the area. The beach is close by about a hundred metres away. Very quiet location, no other accommodation nearby. we had a room on the ground floor. The owners were very friendly and helpful and quick to help us with any queries. There are two good restaurants close by on the beach that do not work until the end of the year. Noisy restaurants operate at the top of the town. Thank you to the hosts for your hospitality.

Take mosquito repellent if you are going to sit in the garden in the evening. :)

Pleasant

The location is key.

The bathroom is not hygienic, the sewer constantly smells. The bathroom is terribly outdated. Kitchen is not functional, its not possible to cook here. Bed is very noisy. If this would be renovated it could be a wonderfull place to stay.

The pictures are some professionally done, to retouch what is not so. In the ad it says that there are two bedrooms, in fact there is only one bedroom and a double bed in the hallway.

The place is very close to one of the Afitos beaches (2 min by foot) and two of the good taverns. If you are with children it is impossible to go up to the central part of Afitos by foot though. The two bedrooms were with a good size and enough place to fit a family of two adults and two children, the air conditioners easily cool the whole place and there are nets on the windows and patio door. there was a nice garden. The owners were nice.

The bathroom was very outdated and way too small, there was no hot water early in the morning, shower was not hung on the wall (which turns out to be common for cheaper Greek appartments). The backyard is not secured and smaller kids could go freely on the very busy street. We had to park in a public parking.

Great place if you want to visit Halkidiki

Great hospitality from Ms Voula and her family. Although it was a short stay, she made us feel welcome and comfortable. We will surely visit again for a longer stay. We hope to do this in the summertime.

Dirty, stinky and completedly out of date.

The list of deficits is very long. First, in the bathroom there is a disgusting smell of excrement coming from the WC pipes which transcends into the corridor and which I find hard to believe the owner is not aware about. Opening windows didn't help and that spoiled our stay quite a lot. The bathroom itself was not clean, the shower curtain is probably years old and turned orange already. There was no soap or anything. The whole apartment wasn't properly cleaned when we arrived (spider nets, sand in the corners etc., dirty dishes). The kitchen was ridiculously underquipped with cutlery and dishes for an apartment of this size (2! knifes, 5 spoons, 1 wine glass, not a single salad bowl), so you cant properly even eat there. Not even a shovel to clean was available. The kitchen has NO warm water! Sockets are rare. Also, given we were 5 persons, there were only 3 blankets in an apartment that features 8 beds in total. The place hasn't seen a major renovation at least 20 years. Door handles were loose, doors didn't close properly, walls were full of stains. The trash bin outside was full and emptied only once a week or so. We were there with a baby and can not recommend this place because of the many shortcomings

We had one of the apartments upstairs which have feature a huge terrace and several rooms. Our apartment consisted of 3 relatively large rooms and a small but underquipped kitchen. Via the street you have access to the garden with a barbecue place. The beach, though not Afytos' major one is 100 meters away.

Exceptional

We really enjoyed the room, it was spacious with a nice modern decoration. Additionally the room was also very clean an aspect that we consider very important and even more so during the ongoing pandemic. The hosts were very polite and helpful and we had an excellent communication for everything we needed. A big plus for was also the beach that is located just steps away from the rooms.

Location, spacious place for two.

Never saw the owners. We were charged city tax even though it was included. They met my friend 5 min before checkout when I was at the beach and asked her for city tax without providing a receipt. My friend does not speak English and they just asked. The booking.com clearly states city tax is included for this booking so be careful. But the worst part was that they never greeted us, and we spend half day asking for wifi password kept getting wrong ones. How difficult it is to have it ready for guests when they arrive and give them instructions where you will leave the keys if you do not come to greet them.

Disappointment!!

We regret our booking.

We regret our booking. The photos do not match with the booking, irrevelant. We booked 2+1 and they said they have no rooms tried to convince us 1 bedroom,+1 kitchen converted to a room! They claimed that we booked it even photos belong to another room. When we contacted booking.com they changed their argument, they said it is a 2+1 bedroom. The ceiling in the toilet was leaking, wonder toilet or what?!? just top of the toilet seat. We stayed an hour or so and they charged for 1 day stay!!! Not fair, not happy!! Luckily, even in hot season we’ve able to find a way better hotel in Afytos. Just do not be charmed close to the beach. There are more clean and cosy hotels just a few minutes walk. Stay aware!!

The Location of the apartments was great . Beautiful backyard too !

The room was not the same as shown in the pictures, cramped and uncomfortable for four. There was no hot water all the time. On departure, the landlady charged us 3 euros fee, although it was written on the booking that it is included in the price.

Nice spacious place near the beach.

It is very spacious and clean, very close to the beach.

Beds weren’t comfortable, house interior is old and could use a bit of renovation. Hosts were nice but didn’t speak much English and communication was difficult.

We had the best time here. The apartment is great, clean, big and you can see the sea while having your breakfast on the balkony. And now comes the best part. The family who owns the apartment. They are the nicest people I have ever met so thank you again for everything. I promised to go back to Greece and only to this apartment.
