About this house rental
Beautifully updated home in Newcastle's trendy East End. Moments from beaches, ocean baths, foreshore, park lands, cafes, shops and the new light rail. Perfect for groups and families wanting to stay together by the beach while being conveniently close to the CBD for business stays.
Stevenson Beach Cottage is a mix of old charm with new conveniences. There are five bedrooms, three with queen beds and ceiling fans. The master bedroom is air conditioned, while the fourth bedroom features a double bunk bed and direct access to the internal courtyard. The second bedroom opens onto the front porch and has a desk and office chair. There is a small fifth room with a single bed for a 10th guest.
The well equipped kitchen with gas cooking and dishwasher is situated in the middle of the house surrounded by a breakfast nook and dining room featuring an eight seat dining table for entertaining. The air conditioned sitting room opens onto the back deck with partial views to the harbour.
Another lounge area boasts a large television, board games and access to WIFI. There is a washing machine and dryer in the laundry along with a second toilet. A travel cot and highchair can be provided on request.
There is off street parking for 1 car in the garage and 3 cars in the back courtyard.

This property is in an amazing location. You have the beach and the harbour only a short walk away. There was aircon in the living room and main bedroom. The other bedrooms had fans except for the last room which had nothing. This room is also quite small which was fine for us as we had the kids share bedrooms but it may be more of an issue for others. The property fits 3 cars, which is a bonus, as it is paid parking on the street. The hosts were easy to communicate with. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay at this property again.

Great house for large group - we had extended family with us and it provided great space for old and young to do their own things.
Perfect location to walk to 2 beaches and lots of easy access to great cafes, restaurants and convenience store.
