Ideal hotel for geezers with good taste who like to walk, like us

Absolutely everything was excellent. Didn’t miss a beat. With great food and a gorgeous car-free, flat road for as many miles of mountain walking as you can handle. Excellent half-board food too.

Best hotel I stayed in the last few years

This was an amazing find, I really enjoyed my time here. Great location and a fantastic hotel. The food was sublime and the staff friendly. Highly recommended.

Superb

I loved the air, quietness and view from the balcony. The rooms are isolated well and I didn't hear any noise at all. For me it was surprising, that you get a reward if you don't demand for tidying up your room. In the beginning there were problems, because the staff was not used to prepare the meals for take-away but I appreciate and am thankful that they made all effort to solve the problem and in the end I could enjoy the food from my balcony. Best comes last- Never ever have I eaten so good in all my life. The cook's skills are not from this earth and the menu was diverse every day.

Not worth complaining but in my opinion its not necessary to print out the choices of breakfast and dinner and hand them to the customers. It could be done digital and thus save paper.

Superb

Excellent breakfast. Only diet margarine should be served as well. Also, dinner was very nice. The employees were very friendly and helpfull. The rooms and bathrooms were superb. All was very new and smartly developed. The lights under the bed were working on a moving sensor: superb.

An elevator was missing. This is a problem for disabled people or a challenge with heavy suitcases. In addition, a ski room was lacking.

Tolles Hotel oberhalb von Oberstdorf, sehr ruhig und total entspannend.

Sehr schönes Hotel oberhalb von Oberstdorf. Die Lage ist traumhaft und bietet einen Blick auf die Berge und Oberstdorf. Alles ist total entspannt, das Frühstück bietet alles was man für einen Start in den Tag benötigt, das Abendessen ist sehr liebevoll zubereitet und sehr lecker. Der Ahorngarten ist ein sehr schöner Platz um seine Mahlzeiten zu sich zu nehmen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und alles ist sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung des Hotels inklusive Lobby & Essensraum sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, das Zimmer mit Balkon bietet einen sehr schönen Raum für einen schönen Urlaub. Kleiner Tipp: wer vorab ein Fahrrad reservieren möchte, dann die Kommunikation NICHT über Booking sondern über das Kontaktformular des Hotels!!

Sehr schönes und feines Hotel. Die Sauna im Zimmer ist wundervoll aber für zwei Personen etwas zu eng. Man kann sich aber abwechseln. Das Essen war sehr lecker und fein serviert.

Aussergewöhnliches Panorama, sehr schöne Zimmerausstattung und eine Sauna der Extraklasse. Perfekt um komplett abzuschalten und den Alltag zu vergessen. Eine absolute Wohlfühloase.
