The location of the bothy was perfect, with easy access to walks and to the town on the doorstep. We were also close to everything we wanted to do in the local area. Our hosts were also very welcoming and helpful. The bothy was beautifully decorated and furnished too, with everything you needed for a short stay. It felt like a real home from home.

Perfect location , much bigger than the photos depict. Perfect temperature, excellent shower and literally had everything we needed for our stay.
Karen was an excellent host and provided us with lots of super recommendations. Outstanding walks literally on your doorstep, plus 5 minutes to local pubs , cafes and shops. Our dogs were also made to feel welcome and had an enclosed space to be kept safe.
Do not hesitate to book this place!

The Bothy was fantastic and a perfect fit for us and our cockapoo , thanks for the freshly baked bread , milk and coffee it was much appreciated , everything inside is high quality and spacious, it’s also a 2 minute walk from all the local amenities of Grantown and a short drive for Aviemore and local whisky distillery’s The Cairn and Tomatin. We will definitely be passing this place onto friends and family for future use.
