Old Chapel was very clean and comfortable. A lovely place to stay if you are visiting the Lakes. Not far from Kendal and Windermere. the village in Levens was very peaceful and people very welcoming.

Very comfortable, homely and clean facilities. The host left us an Easter card and some mini eggs, which was a lovely thoughtful surprise. Nice village with a handy little shop only 1 minutes walk away. All in all, a really nice stay, my family loved it and would definitely stay again.
One very slight issue we had.......the drive into the property is tight and my Wife unfortunately scratched the car ( for ref: Vauxhall Astra), which will now need repairing. Partly our own fault, as you can get through ok if you take your time and are careful. Alternatively you can still park very close to the property on the road adjacent.

Great set out,lovely views, beds are comfortable and clean. Kitchen fully equipped. Great seating area. Bathroom is good with a bath and a good working shower.
Musky/damp smell in back bedroom. Some touch ups needed with paint work. Would benefit from a deep clean on skirtings, in corners, lamp shades and oven.

good if you like it very quiet. nice lounge /kitchen area . nice and warm . nice pub down the road serving good food
very narrow access for the car . poor quality wardrobe and drawers . bed too small understand not room for a bigger one
