Grade 2 Listed Apartment, Southport Promenade

Stayed before it’s perfect location

Needs outside light for returning at night very dark door way in need of a bit of tlc to down stairs to entrance and bathroom sealing flacky paint

The flat was absolutely beautiful and the view was gorgeous. We felt at home straight away and the host was so good making sure all are needs were met. Would love to stay again soon

Nothing

The apartment is in a great location for families with young children. There is a great view of the gardens and playground opposite, which is a super place for the little ones to play for hours. You can also see the lovely swans on the lake and there is even a glimpse of the sea. Everything you need for a seaside holiday (apart from sea and sand - Ainsdale is a short drive away for that) is on the doorstep. There is loads of space inside, big rooms and the apartment is very quiet despite being on such a major road. The beds were all very comfortable though one of the twins is a bit low for an elderly adult.

Parking was a bit of an issue with three cars, although there is a lot of paid parking on the road, this could be alleviated by using the grassed area at the front if the downstairs owners agreed. The travel cot provided proved too small for our toddlers - an extra single bed or sofa bed in the main bedroom, or even a toddler sized bed, wouldn't overfill the space and would make the apartment even more desirable for larger families. The coffee table... oh dear, a wobbly coffee table, drinks and two two-year-olds don't mix.

Amazing apartment, modern, stylish great facilities and very spacious.
