Camp Podgrad Vransko

We arrived at night, but check-in was very smooth: we were able to access our little cabin easily using the code provided. The cabin was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was pleasantly situated under a tree. Fortunately, it wasn't too hot during the night, so we were able to keep the cabin at a comfortable temperature by airing it out. However, in very hot weather, the cabin may not cool down completely at night. This was our second stay here; the previous year we stayed in one of the apartments. The cabins have shared bathroom and kitchen facilities, so this was a different experience, but it wasn't a problem for us at all – we just had to walk a few minutes. The shared kitchen is very well equipped and clean, and the bathrooms and toilets are also very clean, pleasant and well maintained. It is worth knowing that the cabins do not have their own refrigerators. A refrigerator needs to be reserved separately and is located in a shared area near the reception, with an additional fee. We arranged this in advance, and despite our late-night arrival, everything was handled very smoothly. We enjoy staying here because it is only a short detour from the motorway, yet it is a peaceful and pleasant place.

Location was good as I had a meeting nearby. The camp itself is in the quiet area with enough parking spots, even covered ones for motorbike.

Price is maybe a bit high, bathrooms are in the upper floor and noisy bathroom vents.

This was a beautiful little oasis. It was in such beautiful countryside, but also close to a town with a restaurant and supermarket and easily found. The huts were perfect and wish we could have stayed longer. Some of the cleanest and well thought out facilities I’ve seen at a space like this!

Very nice little bungalow, with two single beds and minimal furniture. Bathroom and toilets in the main building were spotless. The whole campsite was very clean and well maintained. Staff were helpful and polite.
