Set just over the road from a lovely reserve leading to the river and walking track into Wanaka, this traditional Albert Town bach includes cosy open plan living - hunker down by the fire for toasty winter escapes, or enjoy the spacious section for sunny al fresco living! All the basics are on hand for a fuss free Southern Lakes getaway.
Bedroom 1 at this Albert Town accommodation is fitted with a queen bed, bedroom 2 has a single bed, and bedroom 3 includes a single bunk set - ideal for 4 adults plus 2 children! There is a full sized single divan bed in the lounge area when required, and the Port-A-Cot is a welcome addition for families with small children.
This is a great wee base from which to explore everything on offer in the Southern Lakes region - wander to the river for strolls and bike rides along the waters edge, enjoy the recreation reserve and obstacle course across the road, or take a short drive into Wanaka. Plus, Lake Hawea is a 10 minute drive away, or visit Arrowtown and Queenstown within an hour.
Simply kick back and relax, or set out on adveture! Ski fields, hiking, cycle trails, and many more exciting activities in the area can all be enjoyed a short drive away...

We enjoyed our stay in the bach in Albert Town. It's pretty basic and not the most modern house but had everything we needed for our stay around Wanaka. Beds were comfy, water pressure was nice, and the kitchen well equipped. The booking, checkin, and the communication were easy and reliable.

TBH we spent so much time skiing we were hardly there, kitchen was well equipped we did cook most nights, and the shower was hot and good pressure. Comfy bed too.

Bach was pretty much as expected. Great to experience a real original bach / crib. Basic and rustic. Lots of games, heating, good shower and running water. Could do with a bit of a clean. New mop head needed. Detergent would have been good first night. Left some for the next person. Check in process not ideal with a wait, after phoning having waited 20min. With a 3pm would think the small place would be ready. Manager came with extra wood during week which was really appreciated. Adequate for our needs and comfy enough. Easy to heat which was fab.
