CASA RURAL en Santa Cruz

Es ist ein kleines Gartenparadies. +sehr nette Gastgeberin (spricht nur Spanisch) +Bett 140cm, ist bequem und Matratze ist gut (eher weich als hart) +Dusche hat guten Druck +sehr sauber +es gibt eine Couch (ca. 180-200cm lang) +man kann gut auf der großen Terrasse essen (Grill habe ich nicht benutzt) +es gibt zusätzlich eine Außendusche +Wäscheständer draußen (aber keine Waschmaschine) +Küche hat alles, was nötig ist (Toaster, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, Espressokocher a la "Bialetti", Induktionsherd mir 2 Platten) +Deckenventilator und ein Drehventilator +WiFi ist gut +25-30 min Fahrt zu Anaga +Preis-Leistung passt Neutral: Es ist ein Naturparadies, entsprechend sind viele Geckos, Eidechsen und andere Tierchen unterwegs. Mich hat es nicht gestört 🦎

Es hat mir alles bis auf die Kleinigkeiten siehe unten, gefallen. Ich würde die Wohnung noch einmal buchen, wenn ich auf Teneriffa bin. Nur ein Hinweis: Wenn sie aus der nördlichen Richtung kommen, fahren sie nicht nach Navi: "300m nach dem Ortsschild links abbiegen"! Fahren sie einfach geradeaus, aus der Ortschaft raus und unten rechts ist ein Sportplatz, hier gleich scharf links abbiegen. (Camino der la Hoya aus der nördlicher Richtung ist keine 180cm breit, es ist sehr eng und steil). Kommen sie lieber aus der südlichen Richtung rein in die Straße, auch wenn es hier ein Sackgasse Schild steht, sie kommen bis zum Haus sehr gut durch. -Fliegennetz am Fenster wäre gut gewesen (so könnte man zumindest ein wenig bei kühleren Nächten die Wohnung abkühlen) -Kühlschrank ist ein wenig zu laut -Wasserhahn tropft (habe Spülschwamm darunter legen müssen, sonst wäre das zu laut für mich Nachts gewesen)

Endroit très calme, jolie vue, bien équipé (cuisine, bbq, ventilateurs, télé)

Un peu compliqué d’accès (voiture obligatoire), logement qui retient la chaleur

This is a separate section of the hosts' house offering complete privacy - access is through a beautiful tunnel of greenery, the entrance is through the garden, and there is absolute peace and quiet. We were woken up by roosters in the far distance, and a regular visitor was the neighbors' gorgeous cat - incredibly friendly and always keeping us company while we relaxed on the terrace. It's not a typical commercial tourist spot, but in 14 years of using Booking.com, this place easily makes the podium for the best places we have ever stayed.

Nice garden; located close to Anaga mountains & walks

While the garden is great the room is fairly basic. Too be fair, I could have concluded that from the pics. It is not something I would call a Casa rural: it’s more like a student room; nothing special or to feel cosy. In fact it’s a pretty noisy room. Literally behind the room at ceiling level there is a Tennis court; so you could here the sounds of Tennis frequently. Also, the room is just adjacent to what I think was the staircase of an apartment block with not exactly sound-proof walls…. A locked door with gaps along the edges enters the staircase. Essentially I was woken up by a dog walker at 5am going downstairs. It felt like they came through the room. With one room serving as kitchen, bedroom and living room there was also the noise from the fridge disturbing my sleep at night. Okay, admittedly I am noise sensitive; the accommodation was okay for two nights but I would not stay any longer or recommend it if you are after a relaxing, quiet time in a cosy home. As I said above, the word Casa is somewhat an overstatement.
