Cosy apartment with easy walk to the city

The apartment is well equipped and cosy, location was ideal for us: close to town, close to public transport.

Perfect location, imperfect apartment

Excellent location just across the river from the heart of Lyon, and walking distance to some great eateries, ancient ruins, and lookouts in Vieux Lyon. Recommended sleeping in the lower floor bed so you can wake up to the view out the window of the tree-covered hill. Staff were quick to respond to issues with accessing the key. Smart use of space - did not feel small or boxed in at all.

Calling it 'modern industrial' is a stretch - looks more like a DIY renovation job with mixed success. The apartment is falling apart in places. Wobbly toilet, pipe leaks, mould, chipped cabinetry and cracks all with bandaid fixes rather than being properly addressed. Shower too small to be usable. Only place on our trip to charge a holding fee which was a bit rich given the state of the place, and an inappropriately long time to repay after the stay. 4 star price for a 2.5 star place.

Okay location, not great for a stay in warm months.

The apartment is beautiful. The old town of Lyon is nearby.

There is no ventilation at all. The main bed is in a loft that has floor to ceiling glass wall, preventing any air movement from getting up there. During a heat wave, it made the stay unbearable. We slept on the cool floor downstairs. We were provided with a tiny desk fan on the second night which is not enough to ventilate the apartment for 3 people. This would be a wonderful spot to stay in cooler months but should not be made available to people during the heat unless appropriate cooling is provided. There are no shops or cafes very close by if you are waiting around with your luggage to check in there will be nowhere to sit comfortably while you wait. Three flights of stairs to reach apartment, okay if you are able, if you have large luggage this is worth considering.

Very good

This was a very nice stay. The interior is lovely and modern. It was all very clean. The kitchen is small but usable with all the required utensils. Communication with the hosts was quick and helpful.

Firstly, the external entrance way smelt of cat urine and was actually quite gross. There was also no light so we were fumbling in the dark for a torch. It was only after we had booked that we were notified that we needed to provide 500€ for a security deposit. That is a substantial amount of money. I understand that there are rules and that a deposit is normal practice, but on arrival we saw there was an extensive list of fines if certain rules weren't followed. This led to a somewhat uncomfortable stay as we were always checking if we would somehow incur a fee. I think it is best to provide the requirement for this deposit and the potential fines when booking and ensure that the individual agrees to them. I simply don't remember seeing these rules when making the booking. Particularly when that deposit can take up to 5 business days to return.

Cozy apartment with vicinity to the awesome Basilique

It was a very cozy apartment. Going up to the 1.5 floor to access the bed with the little view out through the glasses made it quite nice. The kitchen provided everything you need and the service and responsetime was very good.

The Sofa felt a bit overused and was not supercomfy and the entrance to the building as well as the apartment was a bit different not giving the best impression. The bathroom was ok, but due to old tiles looked a bit dirty (But it wasn't). The process of paying a deposit seemed a bit sketchy, but the information is available on the website. It was also returned after just two days without any problems.

Lovely stay and in a lovely city.

The location is great - walkable to the centre. A lovely convenient air bnb with a gorgeous views of the hills out of the large open windows.

The sofa bed wasn’t the comfiest and we weren’t aware the the security camera facing the door.

Emplacement très chouette. Déçus par tous les points négatifs cités plus haut.

L’emplacement, la luminosité.

Propreté très douteuse sur l’ensemble des éléments ( sol, bord extérieur de la douche, intérieurs des tiroirs de cuisine,…) et manque de vaisselle. Logement pour 4, pas assez de verres, pas de passoire, pas de plat à four. Chaises très fragiles car mal assemblées. Linge de toilette sent pas très bon. Des bricoles ( types étagères…) abîmées pas remises en état. Devant la porte de l’appartement, un sas non éclairé et un tas d’objets ménagers à jeter probablement. C’est dommage, ça fait une première impression négative.

Appartement agréable malgré certains bémols et le rapport qualité/prix est plutôt correct je trouve.

Bien placé, déco simple mais plutôt jolie. Propre. Check in et Check out facile. Niveau literie, correcte mais un peu ferme à mon goût sur le lit de la mezzanine.

Plafond très bas sur la mezzanine et les marches d’escalier pour y accéder son très étroites, à faire attention pour les personnes maladroites 😅 Sur le lit du bas, un des coins du matelas est très affaissée donc si vous y dormez à 2, celui qui dort de ce côté là ne sera pas du tout confortable. Dernier point, je trouve qu’il manque un miroir long où l’on peut se voir en entier mais ça ce sont mes goûts personnels car j’aime toujours bien regarder ma tenue avant de sortir.

Beau logement duplex neuf après rénovation , situé au 3ème étage d'un ancien immeuble du vieux Lyon resté dans son "jus", agréable et très calme...Très belle mezzanine mais pas utilisée car très basse de plafond avec son bel escalier pentu...( mieux pour des jeunes) , nous avons dormi en bas plus pratique et facile pour nous...

3ème étage (pas signalé dans l'annonce) accès par une très ancienne cage d'escalier ouverte extérieure donc pas d'ascenseur , pas très facile pour des personnes agées (avis personnel d'après mes constatations)...Pas de lumière sur palier d'accès a l'appartement (c'est un peu génant)...pas chevet ni lampe au lit du dessous mezzanine pas facile la nuit (surement peu utilisé mais ca manque quand meme)....nous n'avons pas pu avoir les chaines de télé (est ce nous ??, mais c'est secondaire)....

Très bon refuge après une longue journée de travail. Sympa.

J’ai trouvé l’appartement très facilement. Le plan d’arrivée est très bien détaillé. L’intérieur est très bien aménagé et le décor agencé avec goût.

Il manque à mon sens un manuel d’utilisation de la plaque à induction.
