2 miles to beach, Boat Ramp, par 3 golf course, community pool, pet friendly.

We loved our stay here and would book again! The property owners were great and the house had everything we needed! A couple of takeaways that may help others. Bring mosquito repellant so you can enjoy the nice patio. We bring our dog crate on every trip, they have an extra large one here. They do have bicycles which is wonderful but you can't really use them to get to the beach from this location, you will need to drive. If you want free beach parking go over the bridge and straight through the red light 3 or so miles. Little parking lot on the right and has a shower to rinse off. I hope this one stays free a long time. Parking adds up ridiculously! If I was able to add one thing at this location it would be an extra piece of seating in the den space for larger families to watch movies and play games but we made it work with a couple of dining chairs. The fenced in back yard is a really nice privacy fence and really helpful with fur babies!! Great place and a reasonable price at a time when its hard to find that!

Wow! I am thrilled to say that our rental was everything we hoped for. Our vacation plans started with trying to find a place that will accommodate our two furry friends. This was an excellent choice. Having a beautiful fenced yard made this vacation possible since we will not leave our pups home. The house is in a beautiful community minutes from a dog park. Bonus! This house and community is centrally located from all of our destinations. We wanted the beach, to visit Southport, and Bald Head Island. We were within very short minutes of all! Another bonus! We enjoyed Oak Island beach and Caswell Beach for the sunsets and the lighthouse. Both within minutes of the house. The accommodations were very comfortable. It felt like home. I loved the spacious kitchen! We balanced cooking in with eating out. We fit comfortably at the dining table for family meals. We loved that! The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our party of six! The master bathroom shower was a highlight with the two shower heads. The bedding was luxurious and very comfortable. The living room was a nice space to unwind after our long days. The only suggestion would be to add more seating for six people. The couch and recliner fit 4 comfortably. Maybe an extra chair or loveseat. All in all a great space. The extras need mentioning. The bikes were great, and the beach chairs and umbrella were wonderful to access. We didn’t have to pack those beach necessities! We will definitely come back!

This is a beautifully decorated house and we had and a great stay. It is literally 5 mins from a really nice beach and close to grocery stores snd restaurants. The owners wer great and we appreciate their attention to detail in an array of areas like the quality of sheets and towels, ample supply of soap, kitchen supplies and things we ended uo needing that we didn't think we needed. It was great to have access to streaming media on all tvs like netflix and Amazon prime, which made the stay much more enjoyable. We loved the extra recreational items in the garage like bikes and kayaks, life vests and other items that made our stay evwn more magical. Lastly, the book they left with guidance garbage instructions, local amenities, restaurants, etc. My teenage daughter said that it was one of the best trips we have taken!
