Cute little house in gorgeous town

Fabulous location, comfortable property and easy parking.

A few things of note…. The neighbour parked us in with his camper-van which limited us from going anywhere other than by foot for much of our stay. Nice. Obviously out of the host’s control but probably worth them knowing that he did this. The linen was a surprise, as was the need to pay in cash. As others have said, perhaps this isn’t clear enough to guests in advance. Some soap and a couple of dishwashing tablets would make life easy for guests who are travelling, at very low cost to the host. And an iron would be lovely!!!

I did not read the description closely enough so my fault. we rented sheets and towels but you get one towel each. I would bring extra towels as I like a separate one for my hair you need to bring your own soap, body wash etc. We are used to the basics being there so was caught off guard the first night.

Clean, and close to great Loire castles

Great location, clean and well appointed. Town was great with lovely boulangeries and a fantastic castle.

This was the only fire we stayed in on our mostly-hotel holiday. We were disappointed that there was no soap etc in the shower. Basic pantry items like salt and pepper would be handy.

Nearly perfect!

Excellent communication & friendliness of the owner before, during and at the end of our visit. Perfect location in the centre of everything. A handy Carrefour Express just around the corner. A house not an apartment with the added bonus of an outdoor area. Every appliance, crockery and utensil imaginable. Great value for money for August.

Some things are beyond the owner's control and would not stop us from staying here again. Some are things, if changed, would make this accommodation near perfect. We didn't like the following: Extra charges for linen, towels and cleaning service (optional though). Parking though available outside property can be problematic for neighboring properties. Need to keep noise levels low after 10pm ( good for families or couples but more difficult for group of adults, especially if dining outdoors. Necessity to read and translate instructions on rules of the property and instructional booklets for appliances.

Fine stay. Enjoyed Azay le Rideau

Location is excellent in the middle of town. Large apartment for two people. Ideal that car can be parked in front of the house. Street parking in the street there is quite difficult.

Lighting was not ideal. A couple of lightbulbs didn't work. By changing the bulbs from other fixtures we finally had a good stay. We didn't use the oven but it needed cleaning. The heating in the bathroom didn't work (maybe that was a fuse problem I don't know)

Un bon séjour en famille pour Noël.

La proximité du centre ville, des commerces et du château. Le côté cosy et La petite touche déco de Noël. Les petits gâteaux d’un pâtissier local pour l’accueil.

Maison bien située au centre de la ville. Jolie petite décoration chaleureuse et propriétaire très arrangeante.

Quelques petits désagréments mais pas de quoi gâcher un séjour : odeur désagréable dans la salle de bain, isolation phonique entre les pièces vraiment minime, et place de parking devant le portail qui était prise par "un voisin?"

Charmante maison au centre d'Azay

Idéalement située au centre d'Azay mais au calme dans une impasse. Tout peut se faire à pied. La rénovation et la décoration du gîte sont top, un logement avec une âme. Très bien équipé, comme à la maison!.

Lors de fortes chaleurs il peut faire un peu chaud dans les chambres, néanmoins celles-ci disposent de ventilateurs bienvenus.

Gîte chaleureux et convivial en plus d’être fonctionnel et bien équipé. Décoré avec goût. Emplacement optimal dans le centre. Hôte disponible et très réactif. Extrêmement satisfait.

Jolie déco toute neuve. Situation idéale.

Problèmes de chauffage (trop chaud! impossible à baisser!), draps fournis mais lits pas faits...pas cool quand on a eu une grosse journée. Un petit coup d'aspi avant notre arrivée aurait été bienvenu.
